A NEW EVENT DEDICATED TO GROWTH AND INVESTMENT IN LATIN AMERICAN MININGThere are a wealth of opportunities in Latin America for mining investors, whether it’s copper and gold assets or following the excitement around lithium and zinc. Finding the best companies, securing long term returns and ensuring projects are developed is important to investors, mining companies and governments alike.

In an ever-improving regulatory climate and the optimism in commodities, in particular around copper, gold and battery metals, the team behind Mining Indaba bring you the Latin American Mining Cumbre.

Mining Cumbre is solely dedicated to the successful capitalisation and development of mining interests in Latin America. It brings to the Latin American mining community all that has made Mining Indaba a uniquely important event for over 20 years. This event will unite mining corporates who seek investment, investors looking to strike deals and government ministers who engage both groups to discuss new projects in their countries.

“Our strategic partnership with the Mining Indaba team who are behind Mining Cumbre supports PDAC’s strategic aims of providing members with access to capital & land while promoting a globally responsible, vibrant and sustainable minerals industry. We’re particularly excited about their expertise in bringing both private equity & institutional investors into emerging markets, as they do at Mining Indaba & we do at our PDAC Convention. This alliance will provide significant support, for the mining companies & governments operating in Latin America who are important partners of ours. Our shared strengths & values will ensure a new world-class mining investment event that will contribute to the growth of the Latin American market.”

“SONAMI’s support of Mining Cumbre will help further our aims as an organisation to attract more international investment to the Chilean mining sector. The Mining Cumbre team has a strong track record with their Mining Indaba event and we’re also particularly excited about the partnership with PDAC which will only make the event even better. We’re looking forward to welcoming international private equity and institutional investors to Chile in July to assess the significant investment opportunities available in Chile’s mining sector.”

ALL ABOUT CONNECTIONSThe Mining Cumbre is first and foremost a networking event, designed to get investors, mining corporates and governments to come to the table to explore mutually beneficial opportunities. The event puts a significant emphasis on connecting you with the right contacts – not only to meet them but get to know them too. We ensure this happens through:

• The Investor Relations Director who manages a 1-on-1 meeting programme for investors and mining companies

• Hosted lunch tables led by industry leaders. You sit down with them and actually get to know them over an informal lunch.

INVESTMENT BATTLEFIELD COMPETITON FOR JUNIOR MINERSIdentifying the best emerging mining companies for investors and supporting the development of new projects is a critical part of Mining Cumbre. The 2017 Investment Battlefield competition takes this one step further.
