About the Scholarship
The Santo Domingo Scholarship is named after the Founder of the Order of Preachers, and is given to students who excel in arts,
music, and sports.
The scholarship is renewable every term of the academic year.
General Qualifications
Benefits
For Music (for College): The Conservatory of Music entertains inquiries, accepts applications and administers the
processing of the scholarship. It determines the benefits for the scholars based on its established criteria.
For Sports (for JHS, SHS, College): The Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA) entertains inquiries,
accepts applications and administers the processing of the scholarship. It determines the benefits for the scholars based
on its established criteria.
For DOMNET, UST Singers, and ROTC (for College): The Office for Student Affairs entertains inquiries and administers
the processing of the scholarship.

NOTE: P.E. Uniform, Retreat, Review, Alumni, Graduation, and Out-of-State Fees are not included in the computation for scholarship discount

Procedure for Application
For the Processing of the Scholarship Application
All DOMNET Medal of Excellence Recipients must bring and submit the following documents to the Office for Student Affairs:
Santo Domingo Scholarship Application Form (form may be secured from the Office for Student Affairs);
1 copy of 2”X2” colored ID Picture;
Photocopy/Print-out of the UST Entrance Test result (USTET result must be qualified);
Photocopy of the UST Registration Form (if already enrolled);
Photocopy of Confirmation of Enrolment Slip;
Photocopy of the Senior High School Report Card;
Photocopy of the Certificate of Good Moral Character;
Original Certification of DOMNET Medal of Excellence from the school (The school’s dry seal should be affixed to the
document);
Actual Medal and Photocopy of the Medal of Excellence (The actual medal will be returned upon validation of the
photocopy by OSA); and
Endorsement letter from the DOMNET National.
The applicant should submit the accomplished and signed application form together with the complete requirements at least
3 working days before the Scheduled Day of Enrolment at the Office for Student Affairs, located at the 2nd floor of the UST
Tan Yan Kee Student Center. (The student will fill-out the Scholarship Encoding and Agreement Forms)
