• Register now! • Please forward this to those interested to learn more about innovations in developing mobile

applications in SAP, and encourage them to attend. SAP CodeJam is free, but space is limited. Registration closes when the event reaches capacity or on April 4. More information is below. We hope you will register and attend the SAP Mobile Platform CodeJam! Regards, Christine Vucinich Duke University – OIT Training Coordinator [email protected] Questions and Answers Q: Who can attend? A: CodeJam is open to Duke University students, faculty, and staff. Q: What is the agenda? A: The agenda is:

• 12:45 pm Arrive and check in • 1:00pm CodeJam begins

1:00-1:15 Introductory presentation 1:15-6:00 coders work with SAP Mobile Platform with guidance from SAP experts

• 6:00pm CodeJam ends Q: Is food served? A: Pizza and light fare will be provided later in the afternoon. Q: What do I need to bring? A: Attendees should bring their own laptop PC (Windows or Mac). Q: What software do I need for the event and are there any costs? A: SAP will provide software to the attendees for the event. There is no cost to attend or for the software used for the event. Q: Will attendees work in teams, or on their own, and will there be coaching? A: Following a presentation on SAP Mobile Platform, everybody will be free to work on their own, make teams, or just network with other attendees. If someone has questions or problems, SAP experts will be there to help. It’s an open event, so teaming is up to the attendees. Q: What skill set is needed? Should participants have experience with specific programming languages? A: Participants should ideally have some background in developing in HTML, CSS3, and/or JavaScript. The event focuses on sharing “what you can do with SAP Mobile Platform” instead of “this is an SAP Mobile Platform course.” Q: Can business-oriented individuals participate and gain value? A: The event is oriented to developers, so technically focused students, faculty, and staff would find this most interesting. But business-oriented attendees are welcome. Q: When would I receive instructions to prepare for the event? A: Prior to the event, instructions will be sent to confirmed registrants on how to prepare for the event. Participants need a laptop (PC or Mac) with wireless internet. Q: Where can I find information on parking near the event? A: Please refer to this location & parking info page. Parking on campus depends on the pass type you have. Please contact the Duke University Parking Office for questions. Other questions? Send an email to Christine Vucinich [email protected], Duke University – OIT Training Coordinator .
