It copies the deletion flag from the material master to the new records. If the deletion flag is now reset in the material master, the deletion indicator is not reset for the batch stocks (table MCHB) so that the stocks in the stock overview are still displayed as deleted stocks. Additional key words MCHB, MM06, deletion flag, MMBE. Cause and prerequisites With regard to the material master, the deletion indicator on batch stock management level is independent from that on material level and it is therefore not reset. The correct system behavior is not to copy any deletion flag from the material master when it creates a new batch segment. Solution 1. Change the program. 2. Correct the deletion flag: a) If this is a material to be handled in batches, use Transaction MSC2 to reset the deletion flag. b) If this is a material to be valuated separately, you cannot use Transaction MSC2. Use attached program ZDLLVORM for the correction. As input parameters, you can enter material (field MATNR) and plant (field WERKS). If update flag UPD_MCHB is set, the system executes a database update for table MCHB (field LVORM). Note Language: English Version: 7 Validity: Valid Since 27.01.2001

Summary

SymptomFor a material to be handled in batches or to be valuated separately forwhich a deletion flag isset, the system automatically creates batchrecords. It copies the deletion flag from the material master to the newrecords. If the deletion flag is now reset in the material master, the deletionindicator is not reset for the batch stocks (table MCHB) so that the stocksin the stock overview are still displayed as deleted stocks.

Additional key wordsMCHB, MM06, deletion flag, MMBE.

Cause and prerequisitesWith regard to the material master, the deletion indicator on batch stockmanagement level is independent from that on material level and it istherefore not reset. The correct system behavior is not to copy any deletion flag from thematerial master when it creates a new batch segment.

Solution

1. Change the program.

2. Correct the deletion flag:

a) If this is a material to be handled in batches, use TransactionMSC2 to reset the deletion flag.

b) If this is a material to be valuated separately, you cannot useTransaction MSC2. Use attached program ZDLLVORM for the correction. As input parameters, you can enter material (field MATNR) and plant(field WERKS). If update flag UPD_MCHB is set, the system executesa database update for table MCHB (field LVORM).
