    Sappi Supporting Printing Talent at 42nd WorldSkills Leipzig,Germany the Worlds Biggest International Skills Competition forYoung People

    Sappi Fine Paper Europe is delighted to participate in the WorldSkills 2013

    Print Media Technology Skills Competition (2nd-7th July) as Skills Sponsor.

    Involvement in such a key event is a great opportunity to support expertise and

    excellence in the art of printing, and to meet and inspire the future generation

    of printers.

    WorldSkills brings together the best international trainees aged under 23 to competefor medals in 46 official disciplines divided among 6 different categories:

    transportation and logistics; construction and building technology; manufacturing and

    engineering technology; creative arts and fashion; and social and personal services.

    Information and Communication Services, the sixth category, contains the Print

    Media Technology skill competition. This year, over 1,000 competitors will be present

    at WorldSkills Leipzig, making it the biggest international competition of its kind ever.

    people, and to support their career choice.

    The event will see 13 finalists in Print Media Technology category, who are all

    winners of national selection rounds from around the world held over the last year,

    compete to be nominated WorldSkills Champion by demonstrating their skill during a

    series of exercises. Using paper provided by Sappi and Heidelberg machines, the

    focus will be on the digitalization of the printing process which requires precision and
