Squawk, squawk as crows swooped down and searched for a bite beside Ellie’s navy blue jeans. The empty air filled her soft nose with freshness as her

silky auburn hair swayed from side to side.

As she was slowly walking along she felt inside her brown leather jacket and reached for her drink bottle but just when she was about to take a sip nothing

came out. Bits of rough sand blew around her as she stumbled around without knowing where she was

going. Bang as Ellie fell to the ground from weakness.

Ellie had three things stuck in her head. One was that

she was all alone , two was that she had no idea where she was and three was that she hadn’t had any food or water. Quite a bit later Ellie woke up , blinked a couple of times and then , what

was that? Ellie looked in the opposite direction with her blue determined eyes and stared at a white dusty

cloud.

Ellie could just make out hooves , swishy tails and big eyes. It was a stampede of horses and they were coming straight towards her! This

was precious time and she didn’t want to waste a second.

As quick as a flash Ellie pushed with all her might to roll over to the other side. Just when she thought her life was over , whoosh as a big gust of wind helped a bit to rush over to

the other side before it was too late.

“Phew” Ellie was relieved when she was

safely on the other side. Clip , clop as one

girl’s horse stopped and the helpful owner on the horse’s back

bent over to give Ellie some food and water

to have.
