Phoenix Industry solutions ( PIS ) offers low cost Thermal Equipment ( ATETC to do the Thermal Endurance of an Heat Exchanger used in Automotive application such as Radiators & Intercoolers.
ATETC is specially designed for testing of Charge Air Coolers ( Intercoolers ) controlling the Thermal Input Conditions of Charge Air such as Mass flow, Pressure, Temperature etc. at the maintaining the Outlet temperature of Charge Air using external Air cooling.
It controls the ramp of Temperature rise as per the requirement.

The ATETC operates as below :
Controls :
The Thermal Cycling Test Equipment is operated by flowing Air a
predefined Mass Flow rate andt Temperature as per the
requirement. Both the Flow & Temperature is controlled th
Automatic Control System.
To ensure required temperature at the CAC Inlet the Air is
superheated at higher temperature. This superheated Air is mixed
with controlled Cold air in order to get the required temperature at
the Inlet.
The temperature at CAC Inlet is increased at a predefined ramp
rate.
The Transition time from Hot to Cold is also controlled as per
requirement
