SPIRITUAL
CATHOLIC UPDATE for October features; Be Converted Anew – and Go Evangelize by Matthew Kilmurry. “As Catholics, we represent the Catholic Christian brand to everyone we meet. We’ve been given tremendous power, and we wield that power at all times. There’s no off but-ton. Our influence is always on” What does your “Catho-lic Brand” say to others about your faith? About the
Catholic Church? Grab a copy of this month’s Update to explore this in more detail. If you would like copies of past Catholic Updates, please contact Dea-con Chuck Wright at the Parish Office.
DIVINE MERCY MESSAGES: In the evening, when I was praying, the Mother of God told me, Your lives must be like Mine: quiet and hidden, In unceasing union with God, pleading for humanity and preparing the world for the second coming of God. (Diary, 625) Do not fear anything, My daughter; all the adversaries will be shattered at MY feet.” (Diary, 626)
Our thoughts and prayers remain with those serving our country at this time; Travis Meeks (Air Force), Nathan McKitrick (Marines), Tabitha McKitrick (Navy), David Nartker (Navy), Bryan Bernhold (Air Force), Brad Staddon
(Army), David Robinson (Air Force), Michael Wampler (Coast Guard) and with their loved ones at home. We pray for a safe homecoming and that the world may one day be at peace. Please let the office (937-667-3419) know if you would like your loved one(s) listed by name here. We would be happy to pray for them by name.

ADULT CHAIRPEOPLE NEEDED!!!! We are in need of folks willing to coordinate/assist with one of our annual fundraisers. We are looking for chair-elects. The chair-elect shadows the chair for the current year and takes over as chair the following year…training in a new chair-elect. This ensures that one person only needs to give 2 years to a fundraiser, rather than being “stuck” doing it year after year after year after YEAR! It also gives new folks to continue to come in and make adjustments/improvements to allow for continued growth. The fundraisers we are currently looking for chairs and/or chair-elects are:
a. Cookie Walkb. Spaghetti Dinnerc. Car Washd. Mission Possible 5K
If you are willing to serve as a chair-elect for one of these fundraisers, please let me know ASAP!
