Team 9 Cookbook

Has a co-worker brought you something that tasted amazing and you just had to have

the recipe?

Here’s your chance to get some new recipes and to share a recipe or two…

A few of us in Drumheller would like to put together a cookbook with all your recipes.

What we are proposing is e-mail one or two of your best recipes to:

[email protected]

[email protected]

[email protected]

These ladies will put together the

book and then sell it to whomever

wants one for $10. The money will

go towards a fundraising function

for Team 9 eg. Relay for Life, MS walk, etc…

something that we would need to raise money to

participate in.

environmental savings, Hi-Way 9 would like to start

emailing pay stubs. Please contact Donnerene at

Remembering a friend and Team 9 member...

IVAN BRYANT

Hi-Way 9 recently lost a very good friend and team-

mate, Ivan Bryant. It is with sad hearts but big smiles

that we remember “one of the good guys”. Ivan was taken from us far too soon but he fought his cancer hard

right to the end and never stopped being Ivan- making

sure everyone was okay and taken care of.

We will miss our good friend who only answered any

task asked of him with “I’m on it”. There are many

stories that can be told proving Ivan had time for everyone and a story to match. He touched Team

9’s hearts, making laughter and helping through the hard times. Ivan was a true TEAM 9 member

and he will forever be someone we are all proud to call a friend. You will not be forgotten Ivan. Rest in peace -you are always in our hearts and thoughts.

The seamless process of Team 9 is fully supported by a strong admin-

istration Team. Recognizing Administrative Professional Day in April

Edmonton`s Admin Team enjoyed a quiet lunch with no phones, no

questions, and no stress...at least for a little while. Rhonda Shott of Cam-

rose was provided an energy drink for every day of the week (a message that has yet to be deciphered). Red Deer`s ladies don`t just wait for the

one day a year-they celebrate whatever, whenever they can! This partic-

ular day just happened to be the Stanley Cup & Tim Hortons. Why not??

As for ALL Administrative Team 9 members...thank-you. Your Team

and Customers truly appreciate all you do.

A proper pre-trip would eliminate the hazards having a wheel not torqued creates. The threat of injury or death for

the driver, the other vehicles on the road, and the heart-ache of family and friends is real and relentless.

Kyle Zimmerman-Red Deer-On Friday, Kyle delivered his Innisfail line freight, came to Red Deer to get his Innisfail Liquor. When Kyle was finished delivering his liquor he drove to Sundre to complete their Connect liquor as well, due to a tailgate breaking down. Kyle-thanks for everything you do for the company. You are a huge part of our team in Red Deer. Thanks a bunch.

Ed Tyrrell-Deck-Way-Just wanted to let you know that you are doing an AWESOME job. The customers are hap-py with you and dispatch enjoys working with you. We like how fast you are and that you are prepared to do any task assigned. Keep up the great work!!

Ken Thompson-Calgary-Thank you for stepping up when we didn’t have a shunt truck driver to help get the yard cleaned up.

Rob Rosin-Calgary-We had a call regarding a delivery to Langdon with a bunch of playground equipment and he said you were friendly and helped the crew offload and were impressed with the service you provided. Thank you for the help you provide serving our customers.

Mudflaps are missing pieces? Is it really

a big deal?

Ask Bart Greenway of Team 9 Leth-bridge-because Bart will give you an

adamant “YES IT MATTERS!”. Bart is

this month’s Pride winner, not only for

his exemplary unit, but for his continual
