Anne Suggitt, Early Childhood Programs Manager

Early Childhood Families in the Sault and St. Ignace learned different ways to incorporate STEAM into their everyday activities. STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathe-matics. We build gingerbread houses, excavate for dinosaurs, structure building, paint and make play dough, as well as other activities.

    Kalvin Hartwig, Project Specialist

Attended the Confederation of Michigan Tribal Ed-ucation Directors quarterly with Lisa. This quarter it was held on the Match-e-be-nash-she-wish Pot-tawatomi reservation.

The Tribal Youth Council tests their skills in pancake art! Each of the students from homework lab got to enjoy their very own personal-ized pancake! YEA also went tubing at Minneapolis Hill. It was cold, but noth-ing our big group couldn't handle! At the end of the month, we're doing a regalia making camp.
