  • Madagascar is known for its hot past the highest recorded temp. of Madagascar is 97 degrees it was recorded in February of 1997.the lowest was in January of 1932 it was 55 degrees.

  • Madagascar has two seasons- a hot/ rainy season in November through April and a cooler/ dry season in May through October. On febuary2-4 1994 cyclone Geralda came to shore it killed 70 and ruined so many homes it left 500,000 people homeless. It was the worst cyclone since 1927.

The elevation of the northern side plateau is 9,450 feet, which is the highest peak of elevation in Madagascar. The total area of Madagascar is 587,040 square Kilometers, making it the 3 rd largest island in the world.
