Saw blade measuring system

CV-ST-SBLThe new concept providing two live images at the same time. Use of the series 6000 raster zoom systems and the corresponding angular optics allow us to show the saw tooth from the side and from the front or, by swivelling, from above at the same time and, using the Metric meas-urement software, to measure and document within the two measurement windows. (for features and use of the Metric measurement software see www.m-service.de).

The system is designed for diameters of from 130 mm to 1,900 mm or alternatively from 200 to 2,000 mm. A

space-saving basic design has been made possible via the vertical holding fixture of the saw blades. The holding fixtures for the saw blade (see specifications) guarantee precise positioning of the saw blade. An additional watch holder with 12 mm dial gauge and resolution to 0.001 mm allow the axial run-out of the blade to be checked.

Excellent images, produced by high-quality optics together with perfect illumination allow rapid working in an ergo-nomic posture.

For reasons of safety (when measuring saw blades larger than 750 mm) the movable stand can be screwed to the wall. Adjustable distance systems on the back panel allow attachment without affecting the stand system. The closed floor unit offers in addition to four compartments for ac-cessories sufficient room to safely store the computer. A door on the right hand side allows easy access to the com-puter system. The supporting shelf for the keyboard can be folded in.

CV-ST-SBL specifications:

- Optical unit: One fixed camera, second pivoting camera. Second camera fixed stop at 0º and 90º, two precision rests at 30º and 45º. Adjustable dial holder for rapid capture of the axial run-out. Optic systems consist of NAV-6000 series raster zoom systems and two USB 2.0 cameras with 1,600 x 1,200 pixel resolution. Optic unit and rotation axis can be positioned independently of each other.

- Magnification and visual ranges: Magnification: 95x bis 15x (based on 24” monitor) Field of view: 4.5 mm to 29.5 mm (horizontal) Pixel resolution: 2.8 µm to 18.4 µm.

- Lighting: Two LED ring lights with density control

- Rotational axis: 2-row angular ball-bearing axis with 16 mm base station. Axial fine adjustment (14mm) via knurled ring for balancing differing saw blade thicknesses. Dual-acting lock/brake for smooth rotation, or for form-fitting locking, for example for clamping and releasing saw blades. Toggle lever with 24 WAF for clamping and releasing saw blades. Fine adjustment on the rail for precise positioning in the optic centre.

- Stand cabinet: Size width x depth x height, approx. 1,300 x 500 x 1,250 mm. Centre of saw blade to floor approx. 1,250 mm. Left side 4 shelves, right side PC compartment. Additional storage flap for extending the storage area. Large storage shelf on top for monitor and any accessories or tools. Three-point wall attachment, adjustable, requires double screws ø 8 min.130 mm long or similar. Heavy-duty Vulkollan rollers and adjustable feet.

- Computer and monitor: PC with Windows 7 64-bit operating system including MS Office Monitor with minimum 1,980 x 1,600 resolution, 27”

- Accessories: Balancing socket from ø 16 to ø 30, clamping flanges, parallel ground to 15mm thickness and hardened, ø16x15, one set each outer ø60, ø80, ø100 mm ø30x15, one set each outer ø80, ø100, ø120, ø150, ø180 mm

- Measurement range: From ø130 to ø1,900 mm, alternatively from ø200mm to ø2,000 mm

The new design showing two live images at the same time is identical to the version for blades up to 2,000 mm in diameter. Use of the series 6000 raster zoom systems and the corresponding angular optics allow us to show the saw tooth from the side and from the front or, by swivelling, from above at the same time and, using the Metric measurement software, to measure and document within the two measurement windows. (for features and use of the Metric measurement software see www.m-service.de). The optical unit and adapter system for the saw blades are mounted on a precision guide with two carriages.

The standard version of the system is designed for diameters of 130-900mm. An additional optional adapt-er unit can be mounted for measuring saw blades smaller than 130mm.

The holding fixtures for the saw blade (see specifications) guarantee precise positioning of the saw blade. The height of the blade can be adjusted. The stiffness of the blade’s rotation is adjustable and there is also the option to lock the blade. An additional watch holder with 12 mm dial gauge and resolution to 0.001 mm allow the axial run-out of the blade to be checked.

Excellent images, produced by high-quality optics together with perfect illumination allow rapid working in an ergonomic posture.

EZ-1000As an alternative the system is available with-out stand. The set includes the adjustment unit with two incremental zoom systems, the illumi-nation units, consisting of two ring lights with diffusers and cold light source, as well as the Metric Plus software (see Metric function list).

If required we will send you a drawing with hole pattern for mounting the adjustment unit with optical equip-ment. After the customer has installed the system, we come to install the measuring software and provide the training. These services are included in the system price. With this version, the adapter and auxiliary lenses for the system working range can be changed to upgrade the system for saw blades with a diameter of 2,500 mm.
