Sunday, October 6, 2019 NESBA Event at New Bedford High School in New Bedford, MA The following document regarding this event is attached in this weekly announcement: - New Bedford High School NESBA Competition.pdf
Marching Band – Rehearsal Schedule Revision: Due to the mosquito imposed curfew, we informed the students that moving forward, Monday and Wednesday rehearsals will start and end an hour earlier. Please let us know if there are difficulties and our band family will come together to help!
Marching Band – “REFLECTIONS” Tour T-Shirts: The T-Shirts are in the mail and on their way to us. We should have them on Monday; Tuesday the latest. They are $25 each while supplies last. I ordered about 15 in each size so get them while they last; first come first serve. I will post when they arrive. Again, they are not a requirement, just a fun bit of merchandise to have!!!
Show Choir – Virginia Trip: Attached is a digital copy of the Virginia packet that Mr. Bianco sent home this week with your students. The turnaround is relatively
quick for a commitment to go or not as he needs the signed commitment letter or an email from the student stating that they will
not be going by next Tuesday, October 1st. At that point, it will be determined if there are enough participants to make the trip a
reality and the first payment would be due a few weeks later. Again, Mr. Bianco is happy to answer any questions via email at
[email protected], via BAND App Private Chat, or in person after rehearsals.
Mattress Fundraiser: Our Somerset Berkley Regional High School Music Department Mattress Fundraiser is Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the SBRHS Gym. There will be over 25 beds on display for customers to try. The beds are new, brand name, made to order, available in all sizes, and cost less than retail stores. In addition to beds, there will also be luxury pillows, sheets, and even adjustable power bases! Please share this information with family and friends! Check out this cool video to see how it works:

all ensembles to be able to reach their goals.

Bands can take any area of the two soccer fields to warm-up in as long as the space out from each other and face their horns towards County Street and away from the school. Bleachers Entrance / Exit – Jessica Perry & Jennifer Furtado Report Time – 12:30 p.m. Report Location – STUDENT DINING HALL Volunteers will be required to stand at each entrance of the bleachers and use a yellow police tape to block the entrance of the stands during a performance so that spectators are not walking in and out during a performance.
