Happy New Year!

The holidays are over and it's time to get back to work. If you want to be one of the 95% direct sellers who earn the lowest incomes, do what they do. If you want to be one of the 5% direct sellers who earn the highest incomes, you have to do what they do.

Achievers don't wait for good things to happen, they make them happen and the time to start is NOW. The greatest dream stealer of all is procrastination and the way you start the year is almost certainly the way you will end it. Take these steps today to en-sure the best possible start for the year.

1. Choose a goal that makes your heart leap. Small goals lack the firepower to see you through the inevitable highs and lows of the year. If you don't feel an immediate rush of excitement when you think of the goal you have chosen, dig deeper until you find one that does light your fire.

2. It's not enough to want it. You have to commit to your goal because without com-mitment, your goals are little more than pipe dreams. Make a promise that you will achieve your goal without any of these conditions attached:

* I will give it my best shot

* I will do it if I can find the right people

* I will do it if the economy picks up

3. Give yourself permission to succeed. It takes courage and determination to push against the emotional barriers that hold others back. Mistakes and missteps are part of growing a business but if you are willing to work and willing to learn, nothing can stop you reaching your goal.

Every new year is a chance to start afresh. Regardless of what happened in your busi-ness last year, draw a line under it and face forward to a fabulous future.
