I have graduated in Commerce and then passed Masters degree in Personnel Management in the year 1977 and LL.B. in the year 1980 from the University of Poona. For the past 10 years I have been working in the Personnel & Industrial Relations field. I have worked with Pefco Foundry & Chemicals Ltd., Pittie Tractors Pvt. Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Presently I am working with International Computers Indian Mfg. Ltd. as Sr. Executive Personnel & Welfare ; Serving labour and watching their interests and habits with patriotic zeal is inherent in my nature. I give due attention to their problems and listen to their grievances with sympathy and patience. I have also developed the capacity to find out the practical ways of settling labour problems. May times I have heard from the workmen in the factory, from their family members and from their neighbours who gather without invitation on seeing the companys officer at the worker's house on the survival of labour and their vital leadership. I would like to study the labour leadership in the Engineering Industry in the Pune Industrial belt.
