Host Configuration• Host should be located near library servers for performance

– Branch offices should have both a host and library server• Host Settings

– Virtual Machine Reserve – percentage of logical CPU reserved for

Deploying the VMM Agen• Communication between host & VMM Server

– Change default ports to increase security

– VMs cannot be migrated between perimeter & standard hosts

P2V Conversion• Converts an OS on physical hardware to a VM• Online conversions use VSS to convert physical server to
