June 14, 2021Monday - Travel to NorwayOur Scandinavian Midsummer adventure begins as we take an overnight flight to Oslo. Enjoy inflight entertainment and meal service as you start your dream vacation.

June 15, 2021Tuesday - OsloWelcome to Norway! Oslo is the capital of Norway, the “Viking Capital”, founded in 1040. With its location by the Oslo Fjord, it is home to many fascinating museums and beautiful green parks full of sculptures. In the very city center, you will find the majestic Karl Johan pedestrian street and the impressive opera house. Upon arrival at Oslo airport, we meet with our local tour guide and driver. We take a short drive outside Oslo to visit Hadeland Glassverk, the oldest glasswork-company in Norway, founded in 1762 and still in operation. We then arrive in the center of Oslo for an orientation tour where you get to admire the Royal Palace, the National Theater, the Parliament, the Opera House by the waterfront, and the medieval Akerhus Fortress. Lunch is served prior to check-in at our centrally located hotel. Time to relax and unwind before dinner is served at a local restaurant. L | D

before we continue to Lom. A 12th-century stave church will bring your cameras out; this is such a special place. Our journey takes us through the Otta Valley, to Geiranger for an overnight. Dinner is served at our hotel tonight. B | D.

June 17, 2021Thursday - A Cruise, A National Park, Tastings! We enjoy our breakfast and then embark on a one-hour cruise along the spectacular, UNESCO-listed Geiranger Fjord with the impressive waterfalls ”the Bridal Veil” and “the Seven Sisters”. We arrive in the village of Hellesylt and continue by motorcoach via Nord Fjord and along the scenic route to Skei where we make a stop for coffee and traditional Norwegian waffles. Next, we will be passing the Gaular Mountain National Park, making a stop by the viewpoint before arriving at the idyllic village of Balestrand, located on the shores of the fjord and surrounded by high mountains. Cameras ready, ladies, this unique spot is a good candidate for the most beautiful place on earth! Besides the breathtaking views, the area is known for its fertile land and fruit trees and we will pay a visit to a local cider house to enjoy a tasting. Fjord - a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with small farms scattered on the steep hillsides of the fjord, cascading waterfalls and towering snow-clad mountains. We will board a two-hour mini-cruise of the Nærøy and Auerland fjords – both branches of the Sogne Fjord, the longest and deepest fjord in the world. We disembark in the village of Flåm to board Flåm Railway, one of the most exceptional railroad trips in the world. With breathtaking views at every curve, it will take us up to the mountain station of Myrdal.
