The Scandinavian-Adriatic Corridor for Innovation and Growth: Scandria
Scandria is a cooperation of 19 partners from Germany and Scandinavia willing to assume a future role in developing a green and innovative transport corridor between the Baltic and the Adria-tic Sea as well as to promote a new European economic core area.
As such, the Scandria project is part of the initiative to foster the Scandinavian-Adriatic Corridor marking the shortest way from Scandinavia to the Adriatic Sea along the transition point from Ea-stern to Western Europe. Scandria is funded by the Baltic Sea Region Programme of the European Union.
During the project’s lifetime, partners have successfully advanced the idea of a green Scandria corridor that links smart transport and economic development in the frame of the European TEN-T core net-work.
The Scandria final conference marks an important milestone for the development of the Scandinavian-Adriatic Corridor as it ties in with the results of three years of cooperation and presents ideas for further cooperation.
