On July 15, Kunal, MTM’s Veera Majahan’s son, and Ritika, wed with a large, traditional Indian wedding. It was a day of joy and love with friends and family coming from all over the world. The happy couple has been together since they were 17-years-old.

Ritika’s family is from Sikh religion and Kunal’s family background is Hindu and Christian. It was Ritika’s dream to get married in a Gurudwara, a Sikh temple. Kunal wanted to ride in on a white horse to meet his bride. They both got their dream wedding and celebrated with six days of festivities, including music, dance, beautiful dresses for both men and women and, of course, lots of food and desserts.

The groom and bride walk around the holy book four times while the priest recites the instruction for ideal marriage and the vows for them. The wedding phere (the ceremony) took place in the main hall. At the end of the fourth circle, he pronounced the couple married.
