Institutions offering technical education in field of engineering since 1995. Faculty of
Computer Engineering Department has around 500 students who are molded in
engineering finely grinned into the latest technology. To exhibit the talents of students,
UPDATES is being conducted every year since 2002. Various technical events are
being conducted and students get an opportunity to participate as well as coordinate the
events. This helps them to develop their inter-personal skills like team work, leadership
and technical skills to manage resources. This year UPDATES'16 was a great success
with a huge participation of 800 participants from various disciplines of the college.
UPDATES'16 comprised of various events like Zodiac, Game of Codes, House
of Slides, Project Wars, Quizzard, Pokepage, Melodrama, Immitation Game,
Sherlockology, Dalal Street, Flash, and Counter Strike that had explored the
creative minds and talents of the students through their innovative ideas that were
gracefully cherished and enjoyed by all the participants. UPDATES’16 was scheduled
during 16-17 September, 2016. The event wise participant’s detail is as follows.

Sherlockology
Dr. Watson let’s sync it to win it . . .
New event Sherlockology was introduced in UPDATES’16 in which total 150 students had
given overwhelming response. In this event, students were given technical puzzle in the form of
code result with required clues to solve the coding problem with the fun of treasure hunt. This
event consisted of 2 rounds. First round was a treasure hunt round. Both the participant had
decoded the clue in form of code together. The clue will help them for the next round. Second
round was of coding round. Each member had allowed to code for 10 min and then swapped with
their partner.
