After you determine the LR, you must use the LR as the basis for finding the yield of the product(s) as well as how much of the other reactant was used and its excess.

Concentration‐ the amount of solute dissolved in a final volume of solution

Concentration by volume is something we are familiar with already.

If we consider the concentration of alcohol in a glass of wine, which is usually around 12%, this means that it's like 12 mL of alcohol mixed into 88 mL of the water and whatever else is in the wine.  So for a 750 mL bottle, the volume of alcohol = 0.12 x 750 mL = 90 mL, if we could pull out just the alcohol.  This measurement is known as concentration by volume.

If we dissolved 20 g of sugar into a final volume of 100 mL, then we could say that sugar water is at 20%.  This is known as concentration by mass.

Molarity ‐ molarity is the number of moles of solute per litre of a solution.  Oddly it's symbol is M and it's unit symbol is also M.  M in this case means mol/L.

What is the molarity of the stock solution you and your partner made?  SHOW YOUR WORK!
