Internal corrosion protection system for mid steel water filled fire extinguishers.
Schaetti COAT 1500 is a thermoplastic polyolefine-based coating powder which has been specifically developed
for rotolining and fluidized bed coating applications. Even on relatively thin-walled parts, its good flow characteristics
lead to homogeneous, smooth-flowing protective films with outstanding anti-corrosive properties.

Polyolefine-based coating powder for fire extinguishers
Fire extinguishers, filled with water or foaming additives, need to be protected against corrosion. The most efficient method
is to coat the surface with a thermoplastic powder.
Schaetti COAT 1500 was especially developed for the inside corrosion protection of fire extinguishers. The high resistant
coating powder is conform to requirements of the European standard EN3.
Established in 1957, the Schaetti group is the leading partner for development and production of thermoplastic coating powders
for special applications.

COATING PARAMETERS
Schaetti COAT 1500 can be used in a rotolining process.
Preheating: 260 - 340°C (object temperature).
Parameters have to be adjused by the end user to adjust coating
