Godly Play Core Training for Storytellers and Doorpersons

Training includes learning and experiencing stories from each genre of Godly Play as well as the opportunity to tell a story in the Godly Play method and receive supportive feedback. There will be plenaries on creating the Godly Play environment/space, supporting the community of children, and the spirituality of the child. Saturday, June 4th, 2016 from 8 AM to 5 PM And Saturday, June 11th, 2016 from 8 AM to 5 PM Participants must attend both days. Church of the Good Shepherd 111 Richard Nolan Drive, Mt. VBS is set for June 27th-July 3rd. “Cave Quest” offers an adventure through bible stories, songs & music, games & crafts, even through our snacks . Please consider registering your child for a great week of fun learning. Ages : preschool (3yrs.) to preteen. The Prayer Chain Ministry encourages prayer for the needs of the people. The prayer request is confidential information and meant for members of the Prayer Chain only. To request prayers through the Prayer Chain call 834-5960. Our next Faith Café Class will take place Sunday, June 5th @ 2pm.

Something new at All Saints Parish All Saints Tea Room will be hosting a community luncheon on Wednesdays from 12 noon to 2pm downstairs in All Saints Parish Hall. All are welcome to come and join us for food, fun, and fellowship. The only cost is your time and company. Syrian Refugee Sponsorship Concert with Kevin Collins will take place on Friday, June 3 @ 7pm at Anglican Church of St. Philip, Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s. Tickets available at All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Price: $25.00

The Aurora Women's Choir invite you to their 2016 Spring Concert on Friday, May 13th at Topsail United Church in Topsail. starting at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $15, children 12 and under free. Food and monetary donations for the CBS Food Bank gratefully accepted. Tickets available at Taylor's Fish Market in Kelligrews, online at www.coastalsounds.ca and from choir members.

The Parish of St. John the Evangelist Topsail, CBS will be hosting a three course

salmon dinner in the church hall on Thursday May 26 at 6:00 pm. Tickets are

available at $20 per adult and $10 for children under 12 years of age. Please call

stall available.
