Certification Training for Clinical Psychologists
Counsellors and PsychotherapistsSchema Therapy is an integrative therapy, representing a major expansion of CBT techniques with strategies drawn from object relations, interpersonal, experiential and psychodynamic therapies.
Clients with complex issues, including those with diagnosis of Borderline, or Narcissistic Personality Disorders treated with Schema Therapy tend to achieve substantially greater
improvement across all symptoms, when compared with clients treated with other treatment modalities, and have very low drop-out rates. Thus, Schema Therapy is becoming widely adopted
as a strong evidenced-based approach for clients who tend to risk falling into the category of becoming so-called ‘treatment failures’.
In response to requests from many counselling professionals in the UK this coming
year, for the first time, our training programme is being tailored to professionals who are
interested in meeting all the requirements for official international certification in Schema
Therapy as well as those who would like to obtain advanced level training in Schema
Therapy but are not interested in completing all of the requirements for certification. Thus,
trainees are able to select the workshops to attend and balance their training and cost
requirements to their specific needs.

July 7th & 8th Mode work continued. Casework and the dynamic 2017 mode model
Registration information
This practical step-by-step workshop will make extensive use of videotape segments with
actual patients. Participants will also receive handouts which they can reproduce and begin
utilising immediately in their clinical work.
Costs for participation are £175.00 per workshop day attended. Registration on or before 9th
January qualifies you for a reduced registration fee of £155.00 per one-day workshop.
Cost for attending the initial and final two-day workshops during July 2017 and unpublished
March 2017, is a one-off fee of £285.00 each (or £240.00, if registrations is before 9th January
2017)
