EVALUATIOI{ OF PRACTICAL. In compliance with the orders of

Ombudsman, Punjab in complaint No.C-1404/04i2011-Adv-ll-93/2011 dated

03.8.2011, it is resolved that there will be one question of Practical (15

Marks) in the theory paper of Intermediate / Higher Secondary School

Certificate Examinations, Part-I and Part-II respectively. As practical is a key

factorin

engaging,enthusing and inspiring students. High quality, appropriate

practicals are central to effective learning in science and technology'

Therefore, separate paper of practical will also be conducted and grades will

be allotted on the basis of marK as under:

A* =90o/o and above, A =80o/or B =7oo/ot C =600lo,D =5oo/o, E = 4Oolo And F =Fail = below 40olo

These grades will be displayed at the marks sheets of the candidates'

. It is the responsibility of the institution to ensure the completlon of

chapter wise practicals as per curricula and syllabi during the

teaching learning process.

. The recognized / affiliated institutions shall offer only those subjecb

to the candidates for which they are affiliated.

. Each institution shall ensure 3 hours Physical, Library & Manual work

per week.

. Each period shall be at least of 45 minutes duration for theory.
