HSF General Application
Most scholarship applicants must fill out the
General Application
Applicants fill out 3 essay questions
Responses are between 400-600 words
Topics include “My Hispanic Heritage,” “Contributing to my Community,” & “Overcoming an Academic Challenge”
Co-Branded Programs
After submitting out the General Application, applicants may be eligible for other programs.
Additional information may be required.
Some programs require a resume to determine potential for an internship.
Letter of Recommendation
After the student submits their Universal Application, the recommender is contacted by HSF via email.Recommender must evaluate the student in 5 areas, state the nature of their relationship, and give an overall recommendation for the student.Recommendation must be submitted electronically by the posted deadline (may differ from application deadline).
