Sponsored by the law fi rm Dentons Canada LLP., this scholarship is valued at $5,000.per year and is renewable for three years. It will be awarded to a student who will be enrolled in academic year 2015-16 into a Canadian law school in pursuit of an LLB. or J.D. degree. The student should have high academic achievement, demonstrated fi nancial need, and should have a record of contribution to the community.

This year, the BBPA National Scholarship Fund will grant more than 50 scholarships, with a total value exceeding $200,000., to Black Canadian students. One scholarship is available for studies in law. Applicants for the law scholarship will also be considered for other scholarships.

APPLY IF YOU ARE1: A member of the Canadian Black community. 2: A Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada. 3: A maximum 30 years of age at the start of the 2015-16 academic year. 4: A student who will be enrolled as a full-time student at a university program in 2015-16.
