LAWYER JAMES DODSON LAW SCHOLARSHIP

Over 1.3 million Americans fall victim to traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) every year. For many

brain injury victims, once effortless day-to-day tasks are now a challenge. As a result, some TBI

sufferers have had to become more reliant on family members for everyday life. While striving

to overcome these challenges, many brain injury victims and their families also dream of

pursuing or to continue pursuing a college education, but the significant financial burden of

injury-related medical bills can make this lifelong goal seem impossible. Florida accident

attorney, Jim Dodson wants to help make this dream more possible.

Jim has seen the life-changing toll TBIs take on their victims and their caregivers. Jim’s personal

experience representing brain injury victims and his strong belief in the value of a college

education lead him to create a $1,000 college scholarship offered specifically to injury victims

and their loved ones.

RHEUMATOID PATIENT FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

BACKGROUND / OBJECTIVE:

The Rheumatoid Patient Foundation (RPF) is a 501c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to

improving the lives of people with rheumatoid diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and

to offer support to students who have RD or whose parents have RD, as they pursue higher
