NATIONAL CYBER OLYMPIAD (NCO)
The results for the NCO, 2018-19 Examination conducted on February 2019 was declared in June 2019. Nineteen students received medals in various categories and six students received gold medal at school level out of forty four students from classes III to X who participated in it.

PETROLEUM CONSERVATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (PCRA) The Essay Writing Competition was held for students of classes VII to X in both English
and Hindi languages under the aegis of Petroleum Conservation and Research
Association on 7th August, 2019 at the school level. Eight students participated in this
activity.
Topics of the competition were oil conservation towards healthy and better
environment - “तेल सरंक्षण स ेबेहतर जीवन व पर्यावरण”.
Two best essays in each language are uploaded on PCRA web-site for next level
competition.

PETROLEUM CONSERVATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATION (PCRA) QUIZ
PCRA Quiz (School Level Online) was conducted on 19th August, 2019 in the Computer
Lab. 22 students participated in the quiz and Nilay Mittal (VIII A) and Saurabh Sharma
(IX B) were selected by the software to represent the school.
PCRA Quiz 2nd round was successfully conducted in the Computer Lab on 5th October
2019.

PCRA State Level Quiz was successfully conducted in the Computer Lab on 18th

VIDYARTHI VIGYAN MANTHAN (VVM)
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national science talent search programme for
New India organised by VIBHA (Vijnana Bharati) in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar,
CBSE and NCERT. VVM is a national programme for educating and popularizing science
among school students of VI to XI standards. Thirty one students from classes VI to X
from our school registered themselves for this examination. Twenty nine students
appeared in this examination which was an online examination held on 30th November
2019.
Six students got selected for State Level Camp participation. Names of these six

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national science talent search programme for
New India organised by VIBHA (Vijnana Bharati) in collaboration with Vigyan Prasar,
CBSE and NCERT. State Level Camp was organised on 12th January, 2020 at Bhopal. Six
students - (1) Nilay Mittal - VIII A, (2) Pranav Prakash – VIII B, (3) Rama
Neekhara - VIII A, (4) Dhruv Jain - VIII B, (5) Harish Kumar - VIII B and (6) Vyom
Neekhara - VI A from our school who got selected for this level through online
examination, participated in this examination and excelled in their groups.
In state level (Madhya Pradesh), Nilay Mittal of class VIII got first rank and Vyom Neekhara of class VI got third rank. They were awarded with certificates, medals and cash prizes. Nilay Mittal also got qualified for National Level.
JET TOY OLYMPICS
Four students of class VI participated in "Jet toy Olympics-2019" on 27th November
2019 at Jaypee University, Guna. About 18 schools from Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh and
Shivpuri districts participated in this competition conducted by the Mechanical
department of JUET and Mahindra & Mahindra Company.
In this competition children made jet toy car using balloon and nozzles of different
sizes. Competition was based on distance covered (with and without load), speed,
economy and dream car presentation. Students learnt about Newton's law of motion,
friction and speed through this activity.
Our school was declared winner in the Economy round. Two teachers Mr. Devesh
Saraswat and Mrs. Bhavna Jain guided and escorted the students.
ALL INDIA CBSE SCHOOLS FESTIVAL
United Schools Organization 59th General Conference & All India CBSE Schools Festival,
2019 was organized at DRV-DAV, Centenary Public School Philloaur, Dist. Jalandhar,
Punjab on 3rd October to 6th October, 2019. 25 CBSE schools from 10 States (Andhra
Pradesh, Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, Telangana, Uttar
Pradesh & Punjab etc.) participated in the festival. The Chief Guest of the festival was
Shri Santosh Singh Choudhary MP Philloaur.
In the festival there were different competitions as – (1) On the Spot Painting, (2)
One Act Play, (3) Group Dance, (4) English Declamation, (5) Jingle Making (for
teachers) and (6) Best School Award Competition.

Along with the above awards, our school was adjudged as the Best school for
maintaining discipline and was awarded for it.
EFFORTS MADE IN THE FILELD OF ENVIRONMENT EDUCATION
NARAYAN SEWA, CLASS XII
“Service to mankind is Service to God.” With an objective to put Swami’s message in
practice, students decided to conduct Narayan Seva.
On 7th July, 2019 students of class XII A & B performed Narayan Sewa. Fifty four students
(29 Boys & 25 Girls) went to nearly Village Kolua Pathar. They sang Bhajans and Interected
with the villagers about schooling. Health and Hygine. They distributed Umbrellas &
Raincoats to school going children and working women. They also distributed biscuits
to the children.
Then they went to Hanuman Tekri near Tanker Area and planted 100 plants. All the
students participated enthuristicly and enjoyed this Activity.
SEWA, CLASSES XI
It was held on 4th August, 2019 in which 55 students from class XI took part. On the day
of Narayan Sewa 55 students assembled in the school and cooked food for the 250
needy and distributed this food at Kolua Pathar.
They distributed 50 Mosquito Nets as well. The children were happy, satisfied and
thanked God as they could do something for the society.
Hundred plants were procured from forest dept. Guna and plantation was done by all
the students on Hanuman Tekri, Vijapur.
SEWA, CLASSES X-B
On 30th August, 2019 students of class X B performed Narayan Sewa 23 students went
to nearly village Kolua Pathar.
There students performed Bhumi Poojan for the constructions of overhead water tank
of RCC they distributed sweets and dug pits for foundation.
Students also planted 50 plants. All the students participated enthusiastically and they
also enjoyed this activity.
SEWA, CLASSES X-A
Students of class X A performed their community service on 6th September, 2019 at
Kolua Pathar.
Whole class contributed by their own choice for the student’s community service
project of construction of an overhead water tank for the residents of Kolua Pathar.
They also did physical labour at the site.
Twenty five students visited the construction site on 6th September, 2019 led by
Principal and accompanied by their class teacher Mr. Chandrapal Singh and Mr. Sagar
Mistri. These students helped in tipping the debris out of pits alog for erection of
columns of tank, they also brought steel bars and laid at the desired place. All this was
done under the supervision of Principal.
SEWA, CLASSES IX-B
Narayan Sewa of class IX B was conducted on 10th October 2019. The task was to assist
in the construction of a water tank in the area of Kolua Pathar as the residents were
facing issues carrying water atop to their living quarters. Under the expert guidance of
Principal and the keen eye of Mr. Sagar Mistri the students distributed sweets to the
neighbourhood children and assisted in the construction of columns of the water tank.
This was an enriching experience for the students and the involved teachers as well.
SEWA, CLASSES VIII
The students of Classes VIII A and VIII B helped in the completion of columns and
beams by doing manual work on 6th October, 2019. They measured and mixed sand,
gravel and cement under the guidance of Principal and the class teachers of both the
sections. They poured the mixture into the structure as instructed by the mason and
thus the RCC column and beams were erected over the foundation. They also collected
the children from the surrounding houses, interacted with them and distributed
chocolates to bring happiness on their faces. They worked there with full enthusiasm
and joy from 9.00 a.m. in the morning till 12.00 noon

SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS ANNUAL SPORTS DAY
On 20th & 21st January 2020 the Annual Inter house Games/ Sports Competition was
conducted in our school. In this competition, 11 games were conducted, i,e. Basketball,
Football, Handball, Throw Ball, Volleyball, Kabbadi, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom,
Badminton & Table Tennis separately for Boys and Girls. This competition held
between four houses namely Himalaya House, Vindhyachal House, Nilgiri House and
Shayadri House. Objective of organising these inter house competition is to provide
equal opportunity to each and every child to play and explore their interest & talent in
the field of Games/ Sports.
Every student participated in these games/ sports with full zeal and enthusiasm.

SAHODAYA BADMINTON AND CHESS MEET
Sahodaya Badminton and Chess Meet 2019-20 was held at Jay Jyoti School, Jaypee Campus
on 30th November, 2019. The meet was attended by 12 schools of Guna- Ashoknagar
district Each delegation had four participants. Participants from our school for Badminton
were- (1) Arman Singh (X-A) & (2) Nishant Nilesh Naik (X-A) and for Chess - (1) Sanyam Jain
(XII-A) & (2) Varsha Vastri (X-B).
Nishant Nilesh Naik class X-A stood second in Badminton, the whole event proved to be
successful and was appreciated by everyone.
SAHODAYA SPORTS MEET
The school organized Sahodaya Guna-Ashoknagar Sports meet on November 29, 2019. In all
353 students from 12 schools participated in it. All the events were organized in three
different categories: under 13, under 16 and under 18, both for boys and girls. In the
Sahodaya Sports Meet 2019 Our students won medals in different events Miss Shivani
Lodha won Gold medal in 1500 meter under 16 years Girls, Mast. Aryan Kalawat won Gold
medal in 800 meter under 13 years Boys, Miss Sheetal Meena won Gold medal in 800 meter
under 13 years Girls, Miss Nupur Soni won Bronze medal in 800 meter under 16 years Girls,
Miss Tisha Meena won Silver medal in 800 meter under 18 years Girls, Mast Divyansh
Sharma won Bronze medal in 400 meter under 18 years Boys, Miss Soumya Saxena won

In Shot Put Mast Kartikey Shrivastava won Gold medal in Under 16 years Boys, Miss Karuna
Tomar won Bronze medal in Under 16 years Girls and Miss Ann Mary Cyriac won Bronze
medal in Under 18 years Girls.
In Discus Throw Mast Abhinay Rai in Under 18 years Boys & Miss Deshna Jain in Under 16
years Girls won Gold medal.
In Javelin Throw Mast Ashutosh Lodha won Silver medal in Under 18 years Boys and Miss
Swetha Anil won Bronze medal in Under 16 years Girls.
In all our school got 9 Gold, 5 Silver and 9 Bronze Medals.
OVERALL RESULT Out Results of CBSE Board Examinations, speak about our efforts made in achieving academic excellence. We try here, that each and every child, reaches his excellence level. The Results of X and XII, were quite good this year as well.
1. In class X we had 41 students .The result was 100% pass and the highest percentage was 95.80% and was scored by Miss Deshna Rawat.
2. In class XII we had 45 Students. The result was 100% pass and Forty One students obtained first Class. The Highest score, 92.60% in Commerce stream, was scored by Miss Yashasvi Laddha. The Highest score in Science stream 90.00% was scored by Master Shivansh Gaur.
3. The Academic programme went on smoothly throughout the year. The promotion
percentage was 100% from KG-IX and XI (as per Govt. and CBSE circulars to comply
with preventive measeures of Covid-19). We are hoping to get 100% pass in X & XII
Board examination 2020.
