A sensational sustainable musical is coming to Telarah PublicSchool - Vegiemania! All students Kinder to Year 6 at our schoolwill perform in the Musical. Don’t miss it!

Preschool have had a wonderful fortnight with families attending‘Read With Me’ and many other learning opportunities includingsome underwater exploration and some exploding volcanoplay!

KINDERGARTEN

Thank you to all the families who attended ‘Read With Me’ wehad a fantastic turn out and the students really enjoyed sharingreading with their families. The ‘Vegiemania’ musical is comingup soon and the kindergarten students have been practicingvery hard for their performance, so don’t forget to purchaseyour musical tickets from the office.

Rutherford Technology High School NRL GalaDay

On Tuesday 28 August Stage 3 Students attended the NRLGala Day held by Rutherford Technology High School. It wasa great chance for them to get some skills training as well asplaying 4 games each. Once again, Rutherford High Studentswere fantastic coaches guiding and supporting our teamsthroughout the day. Moses Tapau, Mia Davidson and Vili Paluwon Best & Fairest awards on the day.

Place your Canteen orders online withFlexischools

Our P&C has now introduced a new online ordering systemfor the Canteen (and Events & Fundraising in the future) calledFlexischools. Many of you may be familiar with it as it is usedat both Rutherford Public and Rutherford High. Getting online iseasy and only takes a few minutes to register.

P&C Monthly Meeting

Tuesday 13 November at 5:30pm in the staffroom (Octobermeeting date falls in the school holidays). All welcome! Meetingsare relaxed, friendly and only last about an hour. We’d reallyappreciate seeing some new faces – we need to hear moreabout what’s important to our families and we want our P&Cto be sustainable for the future.

A reminder that plastic cutlery now has to be purchased unlessbuying lunch or recess. If children bring noodles from homethey will need to pay 10c for a fork or bring one from homeplease.

Volunteers are needed for all days please. Thank you toour existing volunteers for your time and help each day. If youcan’t do the whole day, morning, lunch and recess shifts areavailable – it’s only an hour of your time. Please let Sabrinain the Canteen know if you can help or give your details tothe office. It’s a fun, friendly and supportive environment anda great chance to get to know other parents, grandparents,teachers, students and the routines of the school.
