AR Program September/October Winners

This year we are promoting the AR program with a monthly draw for a free lunch. When students in Grades 2 to 4 successfully complete AR quizzes, they have their names entered once for every 5 quizzes they complete. In grades 5 and 6, for every 5 AR points students accumulate, they have their names entered once for the lunch. Our AR program received a terrific boost this year from Jelasco's Family Restaurant. They have offered free milkshakes as prizes for students who reach their class/grade goals. What a kind and generous gesture! Our first milkshake winners were Molly Orobko in grade 6; Mateo Rutley in grade 5, and Brooke Focht in grade 3S! Congratulations to our students, and thank you to Darryl and Pam Jelasco for your gen-erous offer, and for supporting literacy in our school! The September lunch winner was Jack Brebner from grade 6. Jack enjoyed his lunch from Jelasco’s Family Restaurant. Congratulations Jack! Our AR winner for October was Garret Brebner in grade 5 who, like his brother last month, enjoyed his meal from Jelasco's! Congratulations Garret! Mrs. Schultz-Abel
