School GoalsOur School strives to promote equity and to provide a quality education for each student that we serve. By focusing on equity, our school aims to reduce the achievement gap between student groups and ensure that all of our students learn to the best of their abilities. To reach this goal we are committed to providing student centered, culturally relevant instruction and to maintain high expectations for all students. We have a support and enrichment class called ATI (Additional Targeted Instruction) where students receive additional instruction to support and enrich their learning.
State GoalsThe Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% on-time, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.
Safe & Welcoming EnvironmentOur school strives to ensure all students and their parents feel welcome by including bilingual staff in our school office. All communication sent home through mail, phone or text is translated for easy access. Interpreters are provided for parent conferences and other school meetings where parents are present. We have a full-time School Resource Officer who works with our staff and students to ensure that our school is safe.
