• Purposes– Ensure that expectations regarding professionalism

are more explicit for all courses and clerkship– Develop process to identify issues of

professionalism and provide formative feedback to students

Courses and Clerkships• Professional expectations will be explicit for each

course and clerkship.• Expectations will be reviewed at orientations.• Evaluation forms will reflect these expectations.• Lapses in professional behavior will result in

formal documentation and feedback counseling.• Extraordinary professional behavior should also be

noted.
