Saint Joan of Arc will present Annual Safe Environment Program to our
students during the week of January 18th, 2016.
An additional lesson will be presented at a later date.
This program is provided to us by the Diocese of Palm Beach, and is a part of
our ongoing effort to help create and maintain a safe environment for children
and to protect all children and to raise awareness about personal safety, at home, on the internet, in school and outside playing. Lessons are grade
appropriate and will teach students a variety of topics ranging from how to say
"no" in uncomfortable situations, understand what a safe touch means, and how to respond appropriately in
unsafe situations. An opt-out letter was sent home this week. Only send the form
back if you DO NOT want your child to participate.
