Assalamualaikum.
In this hand book you will find information regarding the all round standards and academic
requirements, policies, procedure, students & parents responsibilities. Please read this information
well and be familiar with it.
Let me encourage you to take advantage of the academic and extra curricular opportunities offered
at Jabal Farasan International School and involve yourself in your school. If you have any
suggestions or questions on rules & policies, please contact the school.
Our school is similar to a small community. We need the input and co-operation of all concerned to
make it a warm and pleasant environment in which learning can take place. You are invited
heartily to join in the efforts to make JFIS the best of all schools.

Dear Parents, Guardians & Students,
We all are working here to analyze student’s needs, differentiating instructions to accommodate for individual differences and
so our school is a cohesive partnership of students, parents, educators and community members continually working to improve
the educational climate. This partnership takes pride in providing an educational environment where students can develop their
ability to think critically, effectively communicate, analyze and solve problems and apply their learning to our evolving world.
The administration and faculty will maintain accountability by continuously measuring academic achievement and modifying
our instruction to meet the needs of all our students. Purposeful professional development activities will be developed to help
faculty reach their maximum potential.
This handbook is provided to assist you during the school year. Enclosed in this handbook are some useful guidelines, policies,
regulations and services for the whole year and the expectations for student conduct. Please review these with your child and
feel free to contact the school staff member or administrator should you need assistance. Thank you for you cooperation and
support.
The school will provide opportunities for parent and community collaboration that allows for shared decision-making, while
promoting involvement in the activities of the school. We will provide learning opportunities that promote parent and
educational advocacy skills for our students and families, and encourage all families to be involved in the learning experiences of
their children.
