ORIENTATION OF THE SCHOOL HEADS, DESIGNATED DISBURSINGOFFICERS AND PROPERTY CUSTODIANS ON THE EXISTING RULES

AND REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES REGARDINGDISBURSEMENT USING CHECKS AS A MODE OF PAYMENT

To: Elementary School HeadsSecondary Non-Implementing Units School HeadsSenior High School HeadsDisbursing Officer (Designated)All others concerned

1. Relative to the implementation of opening of CURRENT Account at LandBank of thePhilippines or any authorized Government Depository Bank as prescribed by theCommission on Audit, there will be an orientation on the existing rules andregulations and procedures regarding disbursements using checks as a mode ofpayment and shall be conducted in batches as attached in Enclosure 1 at 3rd floorConference Hall SDO.

2. Participants to this orientation are the following:a. School Heads (Elementary/ Non-implementing Junior High School/ Senior HighSchool)b. Designated Disbursing Officer per school

3. Disbursing officers should bring with them their designation paper or assignmentorder.

4. Enclosure No. 2 contains the Schedule of Activities.

5. Expenses relative to the conduct of the orientation like training materials/supplies, andother miscellaneous expenses shall be charged to the Division Inset whiletransportation expenses of participants shall be charged to School MOOE both aresubject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
