EFSA welcomed the participants.

2. Adoption of agenda

The agenda was adopted without changes.

3. Declarations of Interest of Working Groups members

In accordance with EFSA’s Policy on Independence7 and the Decision of the Executive Director on

Competing Interest Management8, EFSA screened the Annual Declarations of Interest filled out by the

Working Group members invited to the present meeting. No Conflicts of Interest related to the issues

discussed in this meeting have been identified during the screening process, and no interests were

declared orally by the members at the beginning of this meeting.

4. Scientific topics for discussion

4.1. The Working Group discussed the application on Stenorol for chickens for fattening and turkeys (EFSA-Q-2012-00407) and decided that further discussion is

needed.

4.2. The Working Group discussed the application on DSP feed additive premix

(Na2EDTA CAS 6381-92-6, Origanum oil CAS 8007-11-2, Thyme oil CAS 8007-46-3, Castanea sativa mill) for pigs for fattening (EFSA-Q-2018-00430) and decided to inform the applicant on issues that required clarifications.

of DL-methionine) for dairy cows (EFSA-Q-2018-00477) was further reviewed. The WG decided to present the draft opinion to the FEEDAP Plenary meeting.

4.2. The WG discussed the application on capsanthin for laying hens, minor laying poultry (ducks, partridge and quails), chickens for fattening (broilers) and minor poultry for fattening (EFSA-Q-2010-01525) and decided to present the draft opinion

to the FEEDAP Plenary meeting.

3b E6 ZnO and 3b E4 CuO) for pigs (EFSA-Q-2017-00627) and decided to inform the applicant on issues that required clarifications.

4.2. The draft scientific opinion on the application on Availa®Cr (chromium chelate of DL-methionine) for dairy cows (EFSA-Q-2018-00477) prepared by the WG, was further reviewed. Some aspects were raised that required a revision of the document.

The opinion was therefore discussed in the meeting and the WG decided to inform the applicant on issues that required clarifications.

The agenda was adopted without changes.

In accordance with EFSA’s Policy on Independence2 and the Decision of the Executive Director on

Competing Interest Management3, EFSA screened the Annual Declarations of Interest filled out by

the Working Group members invited to the present meeting. No Conflicts of Interest related to the

issues discussed in this meeting have been identified during the screening process, and no interests

were declared orally by the members at the beginning of this meeting.

4. Scientific topics for discussion

4.1. The Working Group discussed the application on ELANCOBAN® G200 (monensin sodium) for chickens for fattening, chickens reared for laying, turkeys (EFSA-Q-2013-00752) and decided that further discussion is

needed.

4.2. The Working Group discussed the application on Hemicell®-L (endo-1,4-beta-

d-mannanase) for chickens for fattening or reared for laying, turkeys for fattening or reared for breeding and minor poultry species (EFSA-Q-2016-00087) (EFSA-Q-2016-00181) and decided to present the draft document

to the plenary meeting.

4.3. The Working Group discussed the application on CAROPHYLL® Stay-Pink

(astaxanthin dimethyldisuccinate) for fish and crustaceans (EFSA-Q-2017-00499) and decided that further discussion is needed.

4.4. The following item was not discussed: Astaxanthin-rich Phaffia rhodozyma

(ATCC SD 5340) (Aquasta) for salmon and trout (EFSA-Q-2015-00754).
