This is the fourth year PSC has run SCIPE, which is recognized by the Photographic Society of America in the Color Projected Image Division (CPID). This year, 2449 images were submitted by 313 entrants from around the world. You may view images from the previous 3 years at: http://chatta- noogaphoto.org/scipe/ In addition to the SCIPE presentation, Berry Smith, a certified Canon and Nikon repairman, will be performing sensor cleanings for $30 for PSC members. The price includes the sensor cleaning, cleaning the exterior of the camera, cleaning the mirror, and testing the operation of the camera. Since time will limit the number of cleanings Berry can do, those that sign up with Bill Mueller prior the meeting will be the first to be serviced. Contact Bill at [email protected]. Mickey Rountree will be out of town for the meeting on May 16. In his place, he has arranged for several PSC experienced photog- raphers to be available to answer your camera specific questions. Bring your camera and the manual with you. Canon shooters Shari Vann, Angela Dillard, and Wendel Gordy and Nikon users Cauley Hayes and Milton McLain will be available to answer questions. Boot Camp will resume normal classes June 20, with Speed- lights being the topic.
