About the ConferenceThis year, the Scottish Rural and Islands Housing Conference will be hosted in rural Perthshire by Caledonia Housing Association. The conference will cover a range of topical issues concerning rural housing in Scotland.
As ever, the conference aims to update and inform delegates of the changes and initiatives that are taking place and to provide an opportunity for frank and open debate.
We are delighted that once again we are able to offer a price freeze on residential places at the conference, which are discounted for RIHAF members. This is the 5th year in a row we have been able to do so. We have also been able to freeze the cost for day delegate places.
For the second year, RIHAF would like to thank the conference sponsors, Edison Energy, for their support of the event which helps keep delegate costs low, making this conference one of the least expensive events in the sector.
Wednesday 29 OctoberThe traditional coach tour by the host association will take place on Wednesday 29 October. The RIHAF meeting will also take place on this day, following the coach tour.
Accommodation is available on Wednesday night at the hotel for the cost of £95 per person on a bed and breakfast basis (single occupancy rooms).

Tell Us What You Need! Please remember to detail anything that you think may help us to ensure your time at the conference is as trouble free as possible. This should include any special dietary requirements or mobility problems (such as difficulty with stairs) as, whilst the hotel is fully accessible, due to the age, nature and size of the main building, some areas are located a distance from the main conference room.
