Elmer sofa Lucy Kurrein

A luxuriously deep-lying sofa that recalls an old fashioned kind of comfort. It has two large feather seat cushions that contain a dividing layer of natural cocolock underneath, lending a little stiffness to the feel of the seat, while still allowing the sitter to enjoy the softness of the feather without sinking. Two more large feather back cushions fit in the pleasingly angular frame, which sits on splayed powder-coated, tubular steel legs. Elmer is made with an FSC approved beech frame, jute and elasticated webbing and then covered with a mix of renewable materials that includes natural fibres, animal hair and wool. Oversized, welcoming and with an unlikely look of poise, this piece is the ultimate in comfort. Made in Norfolk, England.

Lansdowne sofaTerence Woodgate

A low-lying modern interpretation of the classic English chesterfield, the 2014 edition Lansdowne sofa is a piece that sits comfortably in both domestic and commercial settings. It is made with an FSC approved beech frame, jute and elasticated webbing and then covered with a mix of renewable materials that includes natural fibres, animal hair and wool. The slim 20mm legs are available in bronze plated or polished steel. It is available as a conventional armchair, chaise longue and sofa, or as a versatile modular sofa system to allow for L shaped configurations . The Lansdowne is a design for the ages, elegant and modest in style. Made in Norfolk, England.

This Way That beanbag Donna Wilson

A new design that brings the original 1970s beanbag idea right up to date. Made with a 100% wool, fully removable cover, it is constructed with an inner cotton bag filled with polystyrene beads. This design is the ultimate in occasional seating, exceptionally comfortable and notably soft. The beanbag is upholstered in Field Day, a traditionally Welsh woven double-cloth fabric made with 100% single-ply wool, spun and dyed in England. Available in Dew Drop, Spring, Black Forest & Dusk. Also available in This Way That knitted fabric. Made in Wales and Norfolk, England.

Tool stoolAlex Hellum

A stool, workbench and toolbox all combined. The Tool stool has been specifically design for practical use, with a number of ingenious details that make it fit for purpose. It is made from solid beech, using dowel joints in the construction for the stool itself and a finger jointed method for the removable toolbox. The stool has an overhanging seat on one side, allowing for wood to be sawn without damaging the legs. The overhang can be adjusted with four screws for right or left handed use. There is also a laser-etched ruler on the seat of the stool, which protrudes by about 5mm, acting as a back-stop to be used as you would on a saw-bench. The removable toolbox nests underneath the stool, using the cross braces of the frame as runners. It has a painted red handle and natural oil beech wood finish. The centre of the stool has a carry handle cut into the top, with radius edges making it comfortable to carry. The Tool stool has all the hallmarks of Alex Hellum’s design ethos, which is based around the practical use of everyday objects. He has created a design of real character, for people who like to design things. Made in the EU.

Wedge shelvingAndrea Stemmer

The Wedge wall mounted shelving unit is a delicately designed and constructed piece. It has solid oak uprights, shelves and wedges and is held together with loose tapered pegs, using friction alone. It comes pre-assembled and is available in a natural finish with the wedges stained in either dark grey or black. The radius edges on the front of the shelves and the uprights lend the design a soft and light aesthetic. Andrea Stemmer has brought her usual lightness of touch and mastery of wood to a simple, elegant product. Made in the EU.

Parallel shelving systemTerence Woodgate

The Parallel shelving system is a component-based system made from laser-cut pressed steel. Each shelving unit is constructed with two components, the uprights and the shelves. Notably simple to assemble, the Parallel shelves slot into position between the uprights giving the design its rigidity and stability, thus removing the need for any further fittings. The uprights are simply screwed into a wall. Slim, with ultra-thin pressed steel used for all components, the system is available in either a white, grey or rust powder-coated finish. Shelves are available in 60cm and 90cm widths and come as a set of two. Adaptable and strong, the Parallel shelving system has an effortless elegance that fits well in both residential and commercial environments. Made in Stevenage, England.

Side tableJasper Morrison

Originally designed in 1986 and re-issued for 2014, the side table was Jasper Morrison’s first product to go into production. It is an exercise in refinement, made from hand formed steel and glass, with brazed brass joints. The table comes with a sandblasted or powder-coated frame. Sandblasted or low-iron glass finishes are available. There are two height options, a high table with two circular glass tiers and a low table with one circular glass tier. The simple form, along with the subtle combinations of material and finish give this design a sense of purity and grace. Made in the EU and Norfolk, England.

Tenon coffee tableFort Standard

A design that takes inspiration from sculptural forms and the classic mortice and tenon joint, the Tenon coffee table by Fort Standard is made from European oak and has a 12mm toughened glass top. The design has a very neat construction, with two tapered uprights being held in position by a lower table tier, like an accentuated tenon joint. The reassuringly weighty wooden base is finished in natural oil and has rubber pads that hold the glass top in place. The oak uprights have semi-circular, curved ends and are wider at the base than at the top, while the lower oak table tier is slightly smaller in size than the glass top and has edges that narrow to a slim point. Clever details and perfect scale give the Tenon table a timeless feel. Made in the EU.

Martha benchDonna Wilson

This is a relaxed design that fits all round the home, for sitting, perching or putting your feet up. Shown in Field Day Spring fabric. Made in the EU and Norfolk, England.

Terracotta collectionReiko Kaneko

A range of hand-thrown terracotta vessels that are notably slim and show a real lightness of touch. Terracotta is an ancient natural material that derives its rich orange red colour from the high iron content of the clay. This range comprises a tall pitcher, a large flat platter, a large bowl, a tumbler and a biscuit barrel. Finished with an opaque glaze, which makes the vessel watertight. Each design is made by hand and is therefore unique. Designer, Reiko Kaneko, has created an elegant modern range of vessels in a classic material. Tiny variations in form, evidence of being made by hand, give these designs an idiosyncratic beauty all their own. Available in a range of glazed, partially glazed and unglazed options. Hand-made in Suffolk, England.

It has a simple black braided textile cable, uses the latest E27 7W low energy bulb and has a gently stepped circular shape with an overhanging lip. Ideal for both domestic and commercial environments. Hand-made in Stoke-on-Trent, England.

The legs are designed to fit neatly into three cross cuts in each piece of steel, making two legs face outwards while the centre leg faces inwards. The top face of each piece of steel has three cork pads that secure a tabletop in place. A refined and cleverly conceived design, these trestles are both exceptionally sturdy and visually light. The trestles are available as a stand-alone pair, or with a choice of 12mm toughened glass or 25 mm white laminate top. Available in a white, rust or dark grey fine textured finish.
