4K uHd: an opportunity for growtH

The “Big Shoot” in 4K The “Big Shoot” event offers a filming area where participants can discover new filming solutions and follow the data management chain all the way until the finalized product; this allows them to test production workflows and product features in a real-world setting. Choosing the wrong camera for a project can have dramatic consequences, in terms of costs

as well as post-production options. All came-ras do not fulfill the same needs, and it is more important than ever to choose the right tool for a given project.

The film set used for this workshop offers li-mitless possibilities in terms of filming situa-tions, movements, colors and details. All the

ingredients are there to test the abilities of cur-rently-available cameras. This lets participants select a camera that will be ideally suited to their future projects.

The workshop’s objective is to present the new practices, workflows and expressive potential related to digital technologies for TV and film.

Participants who wish to take their clips home can do so (provided they bring their own sto-rage devices).
