SENCO TOOL & PARTS WARRANTY

This tool has been designed and constructed usingthe highest standards of material and workmanship.

TOOL AND PARTS WARRANTY:The length of this guarantee is one year from date of purchase by the original retail

purchaser. During this period, SENCO Products, Inc., will repair or replace atSenco’s option, any original part or parts for the original retail purchaser. This willbe done free of charge, provided the parts are determined defective in materialsor workmanship upon examination by a SENCO Authorized Warranty Service Center(exception: rubber o-rings, seals and bits). Any replacement part provided willcarry a warranty for the balance of the period of warranty applicable to the part it replaces.

This warranty will be honored, only if:A) No evidence of abuse, or failure to follow recommended operational maintenance, or

modification of the tool is present (read Operator Manual for use and maintenance instruc-tions);

B) When repair or replacement of parts or tools is necessary, the original retail purchaserreturns the complete tool or part, with transportation prepaid, to the nearest SENCOAuthorized Warranty Service Center, with purchase receipt or other positive proof thatthe part or tool is within the warranty period.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY ON THIS TOOL, AND ALL OTHERWARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUTNOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESSFOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE EXCLUDED. BUYER’S OR USER’S REMEDIES ARESOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY AS STATED ABOVE. SENCO PRODUCTS, INC. SHALL INNO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, OR SPECIALDAMAGES. IN NO EVENT, WHETHER AS A RESULT OF A BREACH OF CONTRACT,WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, SHALL SENCO’S LI-ABILITY EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE TOOL WHICH HAS GIVEN RISE TO THE CLAIMOR LIABILITY. Waterentering a power tool willincrease the risk of electricshock.• Do not abuse the cord.Never use the cord to carry thetools or pull the plug from anoutlet. Keep cord away fromheat, oil, sharp edges ormoving parts. Replacedamaged cords immediately.Damaged cords increase the riskof electric shock.• When operating a power tooloutside, use an outdoorextension cord marked “W-A”or “W”. REPLACING THE BITHOLDER AND BIT (FIGURE 2)Pull the locking sleeve. Thelocking sleeve and adjustingsleeve come out of the gearcasing as a set. Pull the bitholder straight out. If it is difficultto pull by hand, use pliers. Pusha new bit into the holder. Use anew bit holder if necessary.Push the bit holder (with bit) intothe hex hole of the spindle untilthe ball lock snaps into thegroove on the bit holder shank.Attach the locking sleeve (withadjusting sleeve) to the gearcase. Align the projection insidethe adjusting sleeve with thegroove of the gear case andpush the adjusting sleeve as faras it will go.

OPERATIONSETTING DEPTH (FIGURE 3)The adjustable nose piece ofthe tool will automatically drive ascrew to a preset depth. Toadjust your screwdriver so it willdrive screws to the desireddepth unlock the locking sleeve,turn the adjusting sleeve untildepth for bit holders or depth isobtained. Test drive a fastenerin scrap materials to determineif fastener is correctly seating.Further adjustment may benecessary to increase ordecrease the fastener depth.

DRIVING SCREWSTo engage the clutch to drivethe screw, set the screw in thebit and align it in the desiredposition against the worksurface. Depress the trigger.With the motor running, pushthe tool forward to engage theclutch. The clutch will disen-gage when the screw is drivento the selected depth.

Tirez le porte-embout tout droit, si c’estdifficile utilisez des pinces.Mettez un nouvel embout dansle porte-embout. Utilisez unnouveau porte-embout sinécessaire. Poussez le porte-embout et son embout dans letrou 6 pans de l’axe jusqu’à ceque le blocage à billes’encastre dans la gorge de latige du porte-embout. Fixez lemanchon de blocage (avec lemanchon de réglage) sur lecarter d’engrenages. Alignez lasaillie dans le manchon deréglage avec la rainure ducarter d’engrenages etpoussez-le à fond.

SUSTITUCION DELADAPTADOR Y LA PUNTA(FIGURA 2)Tire del manguito de fijación.El manguito de fijación y elmanguito de ajuste salen de lacaja de engranajes como unconjunto. Tire del adaptadorrecto hacia afuera. Si es difíciltirarlo con la mano, use losalicates. Inserte una puntanueva en el adaptador(portapunta). Si es necesario,utilice un adaptador nuevo.Inserte el adaptador (con lapunta) en el agujerohexagonal del husillo hastaque el bloqueo esférico encajeen la ranura de la espiga deladaptador. Fije el manguito defijación (con el manguito deajuste) a la caja deengranajes. Alinee laproyección dentro delmanguito de ajuste con laranura de la caja deengranajes y empuje elmanguito de ajuste hastadonde tope.

AJUSTE DE LAPROFUNDIDAD (FIGURA 3)La nariz ajustable de laherramienta atornillaráautomáticamente un tornillohasta una profundidad prefijada.Para ajustar el destornillador demanera que atornille los tornilloshasta la profundidad deseada,desbloquee el manguito defijación, gire el manguito deajuste hasta obtener laprofundidad para los adaptadores(portapuntas) o la profundidaddel tornillo. OPERATIONSETTING DEPTH (FIGURE 3)The adjustable nose piece ofthe tool will automatically drive ascrew to a preset depth. Toadjust your screwdriver so it willdrive screws to the desireddepth unlock the locking sleeve,turn the adjusting sleeve untildepth for bit holders or depth isobtained. Test drive a fastenerin scrap materials to determineif fastener is correctly seating.Further adjustment may benecessary to increase ordecrease the fastener depth.

DRIVING SCREWSTo engage the clutch to drivethe screw, set the screw in thebit and align it in the desiredposition against the worksurface. Depress the trigger.With the motor running, pushthe tool forward to engage theclutch. The clutch will disen-gage when the screw is drivento the selected depth.

This tool has been designed and constructed usingthe highest standards of material and workmanship.

TOOL AND PARTS WARRANTY:The length of this guarantee is one year from date of purchase by the original retail

purchaser. During this period, SENCO Products, Inc., will repair or replace atSenco’s option, any original part or parts for the original retail purchaser. This willbe done free of charge, provided the parts are determined defective in materialsor workmanship upon examination by a SENCO Authorized Warranty Service Center(exception: rubber o-rings, seals and bits). Any replacement part provided willcarry a warranty for the balance of the period of warranty applicable to the part it replaces.

This warranty will be honored, only if:A) No evidence of abuse, or failure to follow recommended operational maintenance, or

modification of the tool is present (read Operator Manual for use and maintenance instruc-tions);

B) When repair or replacement of parts or tools is necessary, the original retail purchaserreturns the complete tool or part, with transportation prepaid, to the nearest SENCOAuthorized Warranty Service Center, with purchase receipt or other positive proof thatthe part or tool is within the warranty period.
