WHAT ARE SCREWS???

• Screws are “descendants” of the inclined plane or it came from the inclined plane.

• A screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a pole.

WHAT DO SCREWS DO???• Screws are usually used to tighten,

connect and fill in.• Here are some ways to use screws:

1) To hang a photo on the wall you may drive a screw into it before placing the photo

2) To place hooks on your carpentry project
