cancelled out, as the noise of angry muffling starts to become visibly heard.

(C3) walking down the street (MS), oblivious to the issue happening to his left. As he gets closer the noise begins to continuously get louder. At this point, the noise is so loud that it causes him to stop (LS), take the earphones he is wearing out of his ears and look at the house where all the noise is coming from, wondering what is happening. He then ignores the noise, and continues walking.

The door then slowly opens, (CH3) realises the commotion going and decides to leave, putting on his headphones and walking away (still LS).

As the door widens Christopher steps out, the conversation is as clear as day. (MS)

Christopher:(CU)

“Baby I'm sorry! Please give me another chance! It's not what you think it is!”

Rihanna: “No I'm sick of all your lies and all the bullshit!”

Christopher: (Getting down on knees)

“Please listen baby! I love you, look at me! Baby... I want you, I need you. I messed up! I've been hitchhiking my whole life till I found you, and now I never want to leave!

Rihanna: (crying, closing door)

“I just can't do this anymore, I'm sorry but... I'm done”

(Christopher places head on door crying) (ELS)

Christopher:(quietly)

“But baby... I love you…”

After a week...

SCENE TWO (36 seconds for this scene)

INT. Silence surrounds the bedroom. The feeling of depression is lingering all over. The only noise you can hear is the slight tapping of a phone. There is a (MS) of Christopher (back shot) in slanted position sitting on his bed, staring at his phone (pictures of his old relationship with Rihanna). The shot then moves, following the 180 degree rule on one side, from behind of Christopher, and then in front of him once the shot changes to a low angle on Christopher reading the unread messages which he has sent to Rihanna. After this, it then changes to the messages of the girl he was cheating on Rihanna with.

(Phone messages are shown)“Hey babe?”“I miss you message me…?”

The shot changes to a low angle shot (MS) of Christopher holding his head in his hands, realising what he has done, the shot then changes back to (CU) of his phone, where he has taken his hand away from his head as he has clicked on their old, couple profile picture of them to together.

Once Christopher is done looking at the pictures, the shot changes back to a low angle (CU) of Christopher looking forward towards his desk. He then realises that he desperately doesn’t want to lose her. He reaches inside his coat pocket and the angle changes to (RS - Raised Shot), and he pulls out a crumbled up picture. The shot then transforms into an EC (Extreme-Close up) and shows the emotions in his face. The shot then cuts to a Close-up of his items (wallet, keys, etc.), which Christopher then proceeds to pick up and take with him, leaving the crumpled up picture behind. The last shot of the scene is him walking out of the hallway door, then the shot then fades off of Christopher and focuses on the crumpled up picture. As the camera zooms in, it shows a meaningful image

of the couple with writing upon the picture stating “I will always love you”.

“All my lifeI spent chasing the pretty lights and how they shine

But they never kept me warmHow many times did I once let love come and go?

Was it my pride that made me run so far?Was it your voice that called me when I was at my low?

Was it your love that warmed me? I guess tonight I'll know”

SCENE THREE 20 seconds

EXT: (Scene begins as chorus starts). (LS) Christopher is seen walking across a main high street. (The shot is taken in slow motion). The shot changes to behind Christopher, showing a shoulder like view (following 180 degree rule) as Christopher is then looking towards the road for the approaching bus.(Shot changes) Christopher is then seen on the top deck of a bus (LS), with his head on the window in deep thought about the journey ahead, (shot changes to focus on him).As Christopher then looks down at his phone (point of view shot) viewing images on his old relationship account on (Instagram), the shot then zooms through the image to begin the next shot in the scene as a flashback. The image is a love heart with their initials drawn inside it, (graphic cut) (camera is still point of view of christopher) as he is then pulled by Rihanna, as he’s looking at the drawing on the floor, to look at her. The image is then turned into a medium shot of Rihanna pulling him across the beach as she is pointing towards the lighthouse (the noise is nothing but happiness, and the sounds of the sea can be heard as well as the sound of the chorus playing). The shot then changes to the same shot (MS) of Rihanna pulling Christopher along (same shot type) (point of view) the pier. The shot changes to them in a holding position of them hugging

Page 5: Script

(deeply warming moment of their love staring of the pier out to the deep sea, shot type/angle is a long shot from behind as the end of the flashback is zooming out of the image back through the phone into reality). The chorus reaches the middle point, and it’s the end of the scene.

“Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker'Til I found you

I found a home I never wanna leave'Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker

This what I chooseI found a home I never wanna leave”

SCENE FOUR 22 seconds

INT: Scene 4 begins as the chorus hits it's peak (the main instrumental). The scene begins with Christopher back on the bus, with him almost falling asleep, lost in his thoughts (MS). He looks at the time on his watch (camera movement from the image on him to the clock on the bus) (once the shot returns to (CU) on his facial expression shows that he is in shock at how time has flown and he is now late). The camera then shows him getting out of his seat and follows him till he gets down the stairs until he is no longer in view. The shot then switches to a (MS) from behind of him running (in slow motion), still in panic as he is in a rush to get to the train station. The shot switches to him running into the station (camera in the station already watching his movement as he runs in) and shows him in a rush, even jumping the barriers to make the train. The shot then switches to a low angle of him running up the stairs, which then switches to (CU) of his pocket to show

Page 6: Script

his wallet dropping out his pocket. But because he is in such a rush he doesn't even realise he drops it. Shot again is a moving shot following Christopher as he runs from the top of the stairs into the train (LS). As he calms down, he puts his hands on the pole and the other into to his pocket. As he puts in his hand in his pocket, he realises that he has dropped his wallet, covering his head in his arms on the pole to show anger as he has realised he has messed up once again. End of scene.

“I was a hitchhikerI was a hitchhiker'Til I found you

I was a hitchhiker.”

SCENE FIVE 28 seconds

INT: Scene 5 begins with the doors opening, showing Christopher about to leave the train at a low angle (MS). The shot changes to a (CU) of him looking to the right as he goes to leave the train (every thing unfocused in the background,

the focus on him).As he steps off he gets a message from the girl that he had cheated on Rihanna with (the shot still side angled but a (MS) now). As he pulls out his phone to view the message, the shot changes (to a point of view shot) to view the message.

{PHONE MESSAGES}“Don't push me away”

“Come see me”“You know i'm always here for you {Kiss Emoticon}”

Page 7: Script

All of this then proceeds to kick in the next flashback. The camera zooms away from the phone, switching to a side angle of Christopher (MS) as he puts the phone away in his pocket. He is walking happily with Rihanna down a street late at night (as this is a flashback this section is all in slow motion). There’s no talking, and suddenly, Rihanna (with head gestures) wants to know who just text him. He smiles and gestures it's nothing and pushes the conversation aside, kissing her on the head (both smiling to show a happy atmosphere). She accepts his gesture, grips hold of his arm tighter and carries on walking. The image fades, and the next shot is Christopher staring at his phone, still leaning on the bus window with tears in his eyes (MS). He then looks away from his phone filled with regret and despair (CU).The shot switches to an image on his phone of the night him and Rihanna were out when he got the messages on his phone. The bus then stops as he goes to get off. The scene then switches to slow motion (CU) as it cuts to Christopher's pocket again, as this time, he drops his Oyster. The shot then switches to a shot outside the bus facing him. As he gets off, he stops and the shot changes from a long shot to a medium shot to show him checking his pockets, and as he turns around, the bus closes its doors and leaves. Christopher then becomes angrier, as he realises he has again lost another possession of his. End of scene.

“Am I too messed upOr is there time for me to change?

Where was my luckWhen I needed it the most?

But then you showed upAnd for the first time I heard me say

Can I stay? Can I stay a little longer with you?Was it your voice that called me

When I was at my low?Was it your love that warmed me?

I guess tonight I'll know”

SCENE SIX 40 seconds

EXT: Scene 6 begins with a low angled shot of Christopher trying to call Rihanna.

Page 8: Script

The shot changes as he puts the phone to his ear (MS).She does not answer and he reacts aggressively towards this, as he (at this point) is desperate. The shot then switches to a point of view shot, looking at his phone as he gets an update from her on her instagram, stating that she would be leaving soon (as she is moving away) to go to America. The camera then moves and looks at his watch to show that time is running out. The shot then shows a extreme close up of Christopher's eyes and his eyebrows lift up in shock. The shot then changes to a long shot of Christopher as he turns, putting his phone away, and starts running. The shot then changes to further ahead of him to show him turn into the forest/field that he has to run through. The shot then switches to a side angle (low angled MS in slow motion) shot to show everything in detail, such as his desperate facial expressions, his body positioning, and more. As he is running, the scene starts to flicker with another to show the emphasis of time. The next part of the scene is the next flashback. The flashback starts (with a point of view shot) as Christopher is looking at the camera, watching her the whole time (the atmosphere is bright and happy, she is moving around like dancing (with Christopher) laughing and enjoying each other's company). The flashback ends with an over the shoulder shot of Rihanna staring out into the distance (which the camera does), also zooming out into the distance. When the camera cuts to Christopher, it shows him doing the same thing. End of scene.

“Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker'Til I found you

I found a home I never wanna leave'Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker

This what I chooseI found a home I never wanna leave

I was a hitchhiker'Til I found you

I was a hitchhiker”

SCENE SEVEN 63 seconds

EXT: Scene 7 begins with Christopher walking down another street, out of breath (LS), panting and in pain (MS). He then proceeds to drop and puts his hands on his knees to try and catch his breath, when all of a sudden, he gets hit with all the previous memories in a quick succession. There is then a zoom upon (CU) his face. He suddenly has the motivation to carry on until he hears three words in his head from Rihanna, playing over and over, “I love you”.He then shoots up (LS) and sprints as if he was never in pain (side angle). The scene then shows him sprinting up a hill to finally get to her. He reaches the top (LS), dodging and weaving past anything in his way. As he reaches the top there is a (CU) of his face, desperate to see if she is still there. In luck (point of view shot), she is just leaving with her bags. His face lits up (CU) with joy as he has made it, and he crosses the road (slow motion, side angle LS) happy as ever. As soon as the lyrics hit “I was a hitchhiker” and the song ends, the noise of screeching is all you can hear, and the camera shows (point of view from Christopher) a car driving towards him, unable to stop. The shot changes to the car (point of view) showing you the shocked expressions on Christopher's face as he is unable to move, as it gets close enough, the screen goes dark, and all you hear is the crash. End of scene

“Was it your voice that called mewhen I was at my low?

Was it your love that warmed me?I guess tonight I'll know

'Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker'Til I found you

I found a home I never wanna leave'Cause in my heart, I was a hitchhiker

SCENE EIGHT (Once the song finishes)

Scene 8 begins with a close up (faded) on Christopher's face as he lies there on the ground, taking in his last breaths. The shot then switches to (point of view) from his eyes looking towards where Rihanna was, but his vision is blurring, and all he can hear is the ringing in his ears. Suddenly, he notices walking come into focus. It’s Rihanna, shocked and upset for what she is seeing. The shot switches back to Christopher’s face, his face slumping, with a trickle of blood dripping of his forehead and dripping out from underneath him, flowing over his cracked, broken phone which is showing a picture of him and Rihanna. The shot switches back to show Rihanna with her hands over her mouth, stood in shock, unable to look. All of a sudden, another figure approaches her from behind, but he isn't visible. The shot switches back to show Christopher puzzled, but unable to move. The shot switches back again to show the figure approaching her, now visible. She latches onto him, face planted in his shoulder crying, while he is stroking her head and trying to comfort her. At this point, Christopher's vision starts to fade and he starts to feel his eyelids get heavy as he tries to stay awake his vision completely blurs, the noise in his ears stops ringing and his eyes close forever.

Black scene All you can hear now is sirens ringing, crying coming from Rihanna, as the last shot is of Christopher's phone which drops out of his hand and still on beaming brightly, the camera moves slowly towards it showing the image he left in his room his favourite picture they ever took, his screen

saver, the surrounding noise slowly disappears and the scene goes dark.
