What I am going to tell you is good for all ages - it’s not baby stuff,You may outgrow your shoes or shirt but never outgrow what I am about to tell you. It’s Good if you are 3 or 13 or 30 or 100!

2. I rode on 3 airplanes and 1 bus to tell you the most important thing I know.To tell you about God - to tell you what He is like.

God is INVISIBLE - you can’t see Him - but you can believe in Him by FAITH - just like you believed America (Africa) was there when you can’t see it.

3. GODS ESSENCE God is not like man at all. He is totally amazing. Now lets erase our minds and I will draw you a Picture of God.

(Ask the children to tell you what the picture is if obvious. Get them to say the word after you. They can repeat even the most difficult word - then you can tell them what it is.)

SOVEREIGNTY• God’s eternal, infinite, unchangeable will.• God has never made a bad decision.• He created and maintains the universe.

Ps. 47:2 How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!

Ps. 93:1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

Ps. 93:2 Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

Ps. 115:3 Our God is in heaven; he does whatever pleases him.

Job 9:10 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. Ps. 135:6 &7 The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.

RIGHTEOUSNESS• God is perfect Goodness - He never sins.• Righteousness is part of God’s Holiness• He always does the right thing - He is righteous!

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Ps. 111:3 His righteousness endures forever.

Psa. 100:5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

Hebrews 4:15b He (Jesus) was tempted in every way, just as we are - yet He never sinned.

JUSTICE

fair when He spanks us• Justice is the watchdog that makes sure God does not

change when He deals with you.

Deut. 32:4 He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does not wrong, upright and just is He.

2 Chr. 19:7b With the Lord our God there is not injustice or partiality or bribery.

Ps. 19:9b The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

Job 37:23 The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in His justice and great righteousness, He does not oppress.

Ps. 50:6 And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is judge.

Ps. 89:14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you.

Rom. 12:19a Do not take revenge, let God take care of it.

LOVE - Integrity• The love and Integrity of God are inseparably united. • God’s attribute of love is fixed. • He loves us whether we are failing or succeeding. • His love does not change because of what we do.

1John 4:8b God is love.

1John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. (in eternity past)

Rom. 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died as a substitute for us.

1 John 2:2 And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Rom. 5:6 While we were still helpless (spiritually dead) Christ died as a substitute for us.

1Tim. 2:6 Who gave Himself as a ransom for all.

ETERNAL LIFE

ETERNAL LIFE• God is life - He lives. • God never had a beginning. He will never have an end.• No one came before God - no one made God.• God gave us time - God gives us 1 day at a time. • We should give God some time back as a thank you gift.

The best way is to take time to study about God.

Ps. 90:2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Ps. 102:27 But you remain the same, and your years will never end. Jer. 10:10a But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King.

1Tim. 1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.

Deut. 32:40 I lift my hand to heaven and declare: As surely as I live forever.

OMNIPOTENCE

OMNIPOTENCE• God is all powerful.• He can do anything as long as it isn’t bad or silly.• God does not sleep - He never gets tired.• God has infinite power and energy.• He will give you energy to do what you need to do.• God never gives up!• God has never made a bad decision.

Ps. 8:3 ...Consider your heavens, the work of our fingers, the moon and the starts, which you have set in place.

Eph 1:20 He raised Christ from the dead, and set Him at own right hand in the heavenly realms.

2 Cor. 4:6a God commanded the light to shine out of darkness.

OMNISCIENCE• God knows everything - God is wise.• God never learns anything because He has always

known everything.

Prov. 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

Heb 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Ps. 139: 1-3 O Lord, you have watched me and you know me. You know when I sit down and when I stand up. You know what I am thinking. You know everything I do.

Ps. 147:4, 5 He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limits.

1 John 3:20b For God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything.

Deut. 4:39 Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.

Psa. 139:8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

Prov. 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are everywhere, keeping watch on the wicked and the good.

Acts 17:24 The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today and forever.

Heb 1:12b But you (God the Father) remain the same and your years will never end.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Ps. 33:11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations.

VERACITY• God is truth• God cannot and will not lie• .Because God cannot lie - he is faithful - He keeps his

promises to us.• God does not have emotion or motivation.• God initiates and motivates.• Satan instigates and agitates.

Deut. 32:4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are judgment; a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He.

Numbers 23:19 God is not a man that He should lie. Nor the Son of man that He should change His mind.

Psa. 50:21b You thought I was just like you.

John 17:17b Your Word is truth

Psa. 33:4 For the word of the LORD is right and true; He is faithful in all He does.

2 Tim 2:13b If we are faithless, He will remain faithful.

God Wants us to be with Him and share in his wealth, treasure and eternal life.

4. Who wants to know God and be with Him in Heaven forever?

PROBLEM

Rom 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.

“You might say - ‘Oh, I’ll be good’

Isaiah 64:6 All our good deeds are like filthy rags.” (like trash on the side of the road)

SOLUTION

God wants you to be with Him in heaven forever. So God the Father made a perfect plan with you personally in mind

He sent his Son Jesus Christ to earth. Jesus came as a little baby just like all of you. He grew into a young boy, then a teenager, and finally into a fine strong man. But He is different from anyone who ever lived because He never sinned!

When He was 33 years old he died on the Cross. He died to pay for all our sins. Yours and mine and the sins of every single person in the whole world.

John 3:16 “God loved you so much that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus Christ) so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have Eternal Life

Rom 5:8 “God demonstrates His love toward us in while we were yet sinners Christ died as a substitute for us.”

Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.”

After He died for all our sins 3 days later He rose from the dead and after 40 more days He ascended alive into heaven - where He still is today at the right hand of God the Father.

GOOD NEWS

1. It’s Free You can’t earn it, you don’t deserve it - IT’S A GIFTYou don’t get it by working for it - GOD DID ALL THE WORKYou just decide to believe and accept the gift or not believe and don’t take the gift.

2. It’s Easy

Acts 16:31 “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved”

All you have to do is decide - you just make up your mind to take the gift.

3. No Other Way

John 14:6 Jesus said “I am the way - the truth and the life - No man comes to the Father (in heaven) except by me (Locked gate example)

Quietly in your own soul you just say “Father I believe in Jesus Christ”

That’s all there is to it - you only have to do it once.It lasts forever - no one can take it away or undo it.
