WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT A LOCK-IN:

WHO MAY ATTEND Active Uniteens in 6, 7 & 8 grades ~ minimum age 11 -

max. age 14. In order to attend a regional retreat, teens must be

“active” in his/her Uniteen group at church. Active” means that the teens attend Sunday Uniteens at least 2 times per month for 2 months prior to retreat. Must be in good standing with church.

Adult Leaders ~ at least one adult traveling with teens must be a minimum age of 25.

ALL adults attending must have a background check on file at his/her church.

Adults & Teens must be able to honor Heart Agree-ments & attend entire weekend from check-in Friday through Closing Circle Sunday.

No exceptions.

Teens with special challenges requiring close, personal adult supervision should be accompanied by a parent or guardian who will not be responsible for the rest of the group

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW Check-in: 4pm - 4:45 p.m. Retreat begins promptly at 5:00 p.m. Friday and ends by 3P on Saturday. If a teen or adult is unable or unwilling to honor the spirit of the Retreat and the Heart Agreements, he/she may be sent home at the expense of the parent/guardian or sponsoring ministry.

WHAT TO PACK Sleeping bag or sheets & blanket, air mattress, pillow,

towels, toiletries, personal items, sunscreen, shorts, close-toe

shoes, bathing suit.

Alarm clock, flashlight, bug spray

Medication will be given to adult church leader and dispensed by that leader.

Regional Love Offering & an Open Mind and Heart

WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED

No cell phones, laptops, tablets, cameras or any electronic devices

No short-shorts, low-cut tank tops or clothing that does not cover the midriff or has inappropriate language, flip flops.
