And you can scan the articles on the page more efficiently.

Reading RSS feeds, you can save a lot of time. It is for information, it takes time to scan the entire Web page, you can check the headlines of the
dozens of sites all in one place.
Aggregators and RSS
Aggregators collect and interpret RSS feeds in one place. That way, you can look the latest
headlines from HowStuffWorks, CNN, the BBC and Reuters, all in one place.
RSS feeds make
Different from writing computer-programming code, most writing in a markup language like RDF
involves putting tags around existing copy.
RSS and RDF
RSS uses the World Wide Web Consortium's RDF as a guide to tell a feed aggregator how to
read the file. RDF is based on extensible markup language, a hypertext markup language, which is
the language used for everyday Web sites.
