The start of the Sea to Summit adventure...

In 1984 a small group of climbers from the worlds flattest continent pulled

off an audacious new route on the North Face of Everest in lightweight

style without oxygen or sherpa support. Six years later, one of those Aus-

tralian climbers, Tim Macartney-Snape, decided to return to Everest after

he realized that neither he nor any other person had truly climbed the entire

8,848 meters of the mountain, as that would mean starting from sea level.

No one had yet climbed it sea to summit.

In the spring of 1990, Tim took a swim in the tepid waters of the Bay of

Bengal, then set off on foot across the Gangetic Plain toward the distantHimalaya. Four months later, having climbed alone from Base Camp with-

out supplementary oxygen, he again stood on the highest point on Earth;

the culmination of the Sea to Summit expedition.

Back in Perth, Western Australia, Tim joined forces with climbing friend

and design guru Roland Tyson to utilize their outdoor experience to create

truly ingenious, well-made, affordable outdoor equipment. They named

their company Sea to Summit after Tims expedition and the business

prospered.

Today the Sea to Summit brand continues to provide innovative gear to a growing band of outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. Though

the range is broad, each product is designed with performance and function in mind, from the award-winning Ultra-SilDry Sacks for

the ultralight backpacker to the new Big River Dry Bags for the paddling enthusiast. Getting things just right means that our product

The new eVACDry Sack is a slimmed down version of our awardwinning eVENT Compression Dry Sack. We use waterproof, airpermeable eVENT fabric on the base for valve-free air expulsion,allowing compact packing. Terms:Net 30 from our invoice date for dealers with approved credit. Accounts with a consistent late pay history, may be placed onCOD or credit card status for all future orders. Past due accounts are subject to suspension of open-account status withoutnotice. Returned checks will incur a $20 returned-check fee.

Opening Order and Minimum Order Requirements:Initial order to open an account must be at least $100 net. No minimum order requirement once the account is established.
