Directed Picking
The directed picking process enables you to pick orders using eithermobile RF devices or paper pick slips. With directed picking you can:
Direct order pickers to specific pick-from locations based onuser defined picking rules
Assign pick to deplete in order to free up space

Compliance Labeling
Using a set of user-defined rules, compliance labeling selects theappropriate label format and content for a specific task.Specifically, compliance labeling does the following:
Integrates to 3rd party label design and printing systems.
Prints to either a local or remote location, based on useror system directions.
Generates any number of unique formats for a singlewarehouse label.

The control board provides warehouse managers with a real-time snapshot of the progress of work across the warehouse.
The WMS control board enables warehouse managers to:
- Manage work tasks by activity type and resource.
- Track the progress of work and direct their workforce toareas that might be lagging behind.
- Re-assign tasks, which have already been accepted byan employee, to another employee.

License Plate Numbers
A license plate number (LPN) represents any object that exists in alocation and holds items.
All material received through Oracle WMS is associated with a uniqueLPN. This enables material to easily be tracked and transacted
throughout your warehouse without scanning the item, quantities, lots orserial numbers.

Tasks and Task ManagementTasks and Task Management
A task is defined as a unit of work.
Task management is the process of effectively distributing andallocating tasks within a warehouse to maximize labor productivity andequipment utilization.
Provides insights into labor productivity and accurate methods formeasuring work output.
Uses real time data to compute and report on various tasks such asproductivity, employee and equipment utilization, available jobs, andresource scheduling.
The WMS Control Board is used to monitor productivity and utilization.
