Start at the library home page: http://www.library.dmu.ac.uk/

From the Library Homepage click on E-journals in the centre of the screen. Then select Electronic Journals. Then click on the Electronic Journals A-Z list link.

This will take you to our list of full text e-journals from all the different databases and subscriptions the library has. You can also get to this page by clicking on Electronic Journals A-Z from the library catalogue. In the Title box - enter the title of the journal to search for, ie: Journal of Business and Management

Click Go.

Sometimes you will be given a citation from a specific article to look at or a certain journal may have been recommended to you by a lecturer. We have a list of full-text electronic journals that you can access on the Internet.

Now click on the

link. The entries for this title will appear in a new window.

Details of where the journal can be accessed from are given.

You now have two options. To browse the journal simply Click on the Go button next to the appropriate entry. Enter your Single Sign On details when prompted to do so. This will open give you access to the journal within the selected database. Now you can browse the journal by year or search within the publication using keywords. Alternatively you can search for a specific article if you have the citation. This is useful if you have been given a specific article to look at. An example might be, Papenhausen, C. (2006) Top Managers' Generational Membership and Strategic Decision-Making. Journal of Business and Management, 12 (2), pp. 157-168. Enter the details from the citation and then click Go.

Direct access to the article is given saving you time having to browse.
